At first I was very excited, when I head a Hayward location would open. As I use to go to the Newark location all the time, though I live in Hayward. However on my first visit to the store and I couldn’t find the Rice Tortillas from Food for Life. There was a group of three Employees just talking, I asked if they can check if they were out, or if this location was just going to stack up differently. The girl that was there with two men, was absolutely unprofessional and rude. She said we don’t have them. I said I understand, but does it mean you are out? Or this location won’t have the same items? She said with an upset tone, I don’t know, apparently yes. I then asked to speak to a Manager, she then went to tell me that she was out for lunch, if I wanted to wait, and walked away. I then asked three other staff members and they all had no clue. I then went to my car and called the store. The person that answered my call, said she had no idea if they would ever bring this Tortillas. I reply that I had been buying it from the Newark location for years, that if there was a way she could ask. She replied let me ask my Manager and put me on hold. After having been on hold for 15 minutes, she hung up on me. So after all this drama, and no resolution. I ended up at the Newark location. (I spend $30 for those Tortillas, but no one could help, very...
Read moreI would give it 5 starts, because everything i need, it's here. But the young immature employees are terrible. One young man who is an employee (tall, curly hair, mexican) kept following me threw my shopping experience. When I get to checkout he still following me. Then when I stare at him he acts like he stocking. As Im paying for my purchase he makes weird funny gestures to the bagger and check out cashier Nairobi. As I almost said something he quickly goes away. Now the bagger(young lady)and Nairobi (cashier) are both laughing uncontrollably and trying to create small talk while I finish my purchase. The bagger has completely lost all composure. Every time she looks at me she burst into a uncontrollable laughter. She barely couldn't do her job. Almost dropped my glass bottle waters. I'm utterly disgusted by her reaction towards me.
I get it that they're young and still immature, but i don't like being messed with/making fun of/ and getting followed. This is my second time within 4 days at this store. I like it alot but the young employees need to be more RESPECTFUL to costumers. This took place 10/18/2025 4.45pm I will return back and hopefully this experience...
Read moreWent to the Sprouts in my neighborhood the other day to pick up something for dinner for my wife and me. I decided to make New York steaks, so I headed to the meat counter. Unfortunately, there was no one there to help, but one of the employees noticed and kindly called the manager over.
When the manager arrived, I picked out a beautiful steak—about a pound and a half, and over 2 inches thick. I asked if he could cut it into two steaks so they’d be easier to cook. He took it to the back and came back out with the package already wrapped.
When I got home and opened it, I was really disappointed to find that instead of cutting it into two proper steaks, he had just sliced it directly in half. Totally ruined the thickness and the look of the steak I picked out.
Sprouts usually has good quality, but this experience was frustrating. I wish they had taken a bit more care with...
