In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Hayward

My favorite go-to place in California. Being a vegetarian it’s hard to get vegetarian burgers in California. But I’m so glad I found in-n-out, they are truly my saviors. I love burgers and they offer you grilled cheese burgers. You can have grilled onion/raw onions , tomato & lettuce. This one is close to my house and I’m so glad it opened here because the next closest is in Union landing. Also, good on customer service. They are quick and it’s always full-packed at in-n-out, so no complains atleast they do their best to make it quick. I have tried their normal fries, their cheese fries and their animal fries. I think In-N-Out should work on their fries. But so far, my favorite has to be animal fries which has grilled onions and melted cheese.

They don’t offer you size with fries or shake, so it’s the regular size. The good thing about this place is It’s reasonable too. The workers arent trained well, or at least the short girl at the front that was working 1030 pm on veterans day with the false lashes. Didnt catch her name but she was rude and despite the veterans meal being a clear sign above her head and directly beside her she continued to say she didnt know about veterans day. Maybe she just doesnt know it's a day that exists but to not even knowing the meal that her store was serving to those that were in shows a clear lack of training for In n Out customer service. I hope other employees arent like her and are at least kind even if they dont know what is going on in their store. It should be known to get your manager if youre unsure as well rather than being rude as that girl was. I wonder how many vets were not given their complimentary meal either because of this girls ignorance of the day. Definitely a big disappoint as I have always had good service and food at other In n Out establishments whereas i will now have a negative experience...

Upon arriving at the establishment, I was initially assisted by a very polite cashier. However, after placing my order, I waited approximately 25 minutes for my food, and when it was finally handed to me, part of it was cold.

Additionally, the employee who gave me my order —named Mía— was extremely rude. When I asked her for some sauces and yellow peppers, she completely ignored me, and then proceeded to speak with another cashier, saying: “What the hell is she doing standing there?”

Her behavior made me feel discriminated against. I am not sure if it was because of the color of my skin or my Latino features, but it was an experience that was offensive, inappropriate, and absolutely unacceptable.
