The new â policyâ set in place by the new service manager Steve made my experience less than desirable. I get a call on Thursday 12/19/24 10:55 am from my service provider telling me that I need to pay for my bill in full before they could start work, keep in mind my appointment was scheduled for 8:30 am. I scheduled this appointment Tuesday for a night drop on Wednesday. If this is âpolicyâ this shouldâve been explained when I scheduled Tuesday and discussed my bill or even on Wednesday when I confirmed my appointment not two hours into my appointment. Not everyone has a desk job with access to their financials. Furthermore, I was genuinely confused because my sister just had her vehicle serviced the previous week and this was not âpolicyâ we paid after services were rendered like we normally do at this establishment. Asserting that patrons canât pay for their service and are going to abandon their vehicles due actions of others is insulting. I understand you all reserve the right to run your business how you want and need to protect your assets but be mindful of customer experience. If this is âpolicyâ make sure everyone is on one accord from the person scheduling appointments to the person providing service. Put up some signs and let your customers know about âpolicesâ before hand to avoid confusion. Iâve asked several people if they ever had to pay 100% service up front on a car repair. Guess what ? Unanimously no. Steve trying to explain this âpolicyâ then has the nerve to compare apples to oranges saying that if âI know anything about home renovations that most people require full payment upfrontâ. Funny thing is, Iâve hired electricians, painters, and HVAC contractors over the past year and not one has required 100% payment before services were rendered. I see no problem paying for a deposit to give you all a sense of security and clearly no issue with paying for my bill, as you all were paid. Steveâs arrogance and condescending tone on the phone made me want to take my business elsewhere the day, convenience made the sale.
Update âŚâŚ.. To be clear a 100% payment was requested upfront not a just deposit because other customers couldnât pay their bill and had abandoned their cars. You stated âwhatâs the difference if you pay for something before or afterâ. You know the situation was indeed as I described, even your service associate stated that your âpolicyâneeds to be ironed out. It shouldnât matter if my car a is 2013 or was the first car on wheels. He made sure I fully understood all the details of the financing process and worked with me to find the best possible solution. I truly appreciated the time he took to make sure I felt comfortable with every decision.
Overall Experience: Every gentleman I interacted with at Bommarito Nissan in Hazelwood was a pleasure to work with. They made sure my entire experience was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. The level of service I received at Bommarito was incomparable to my previous experience at another Nissan dealership in St. Charles. The staff at Bommarito went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible, and it made all the difference.
