Love Restaurant — Restaurant in Hazelwood

I was originally was suppose to come here for my birthday last week but, didn’t. So my friend and I decided to come this weekend. When we pulled in the lot it was literally only five cars. We chucked it up to the weather. We decided to still go in and enjoy ourselves. The first issues was the building was so cold it was like I was still standing outside … the owners or workers had a heater sitting next to them so something tells me they didn’t have heat. The ceiling display and quote walls were cute but the seating was terrible and painting looked cheap. I went to the restroom down this cold hallway and walked in the restroom and I instantly observed the unkept bathroom.. it look like they just took a building and hurried to get the doors open rather than putting in quality work to make it look presentable meanwhile the toilet next me continue to run like it was out of order . I go to wash my hands and the soap was cheap and didn’t lather… now this is the kicker.. I ran the water for 8 min and the water was freezing cold!!! They had a DJ booth but no DJ, a worker or owner was playing music from their phone which was terrible… I had high hopes for this establishment but unfortunately I will NOT be back… to think they were going to charge me $250 last week to have 5 ladies here for my birthday … so glad it didn’t because it wasn’t worth it. But I wish the business much success.

First off I wasn’t refused nothing…I have several videos and pictures I took in your establishment! I was never stopped by anyone except to check my purse… so you either got me confused or you just can’t take someone critiquing your business! And another thing I never paid for my drink because it was my birthday and my friend paid for them… I’m 35 years old and MARRIED. I carry myself with respect unlike some of the kids I seen in their Ha Ha! And you want to talk about a mature crowd. I wasn’t going to get into the age thing but since you want to put a post up that’s not even about me I’m going to address it! See this is why you cant attend everyone establishment because they don’t know how to accept people options and you just sat here and told a WHOLE lie and don’t even have the right person...

Honestly looking at the reviews you would be a little hesitant about going here! I like to try new places No the matter what to get my own opinion! Celebrated my sister’s birthday on Sunday! Their IG had me hooked from the start! Parking was easy, inside is nicely decorated very good for pics for your occasion! We were greeted by staff as we entered the establishment (which is a plus for me) music was AMAZING this was a lit brunch and a chill brunch all in one which is exactly what we were looking for the owner accommodated our seating needs as for us needing a bigger seat arrangement! Our server was great she checked on us in a timely manner made sure we were comfortable and taken care of! The owner was very engaging he made sure to tell my sister happy birthday kept the music flowing checked on us just as much as our waitress! Our food arrived in a great time everything was HOT and delicious especially the fried fish the cooks really put their foot in it lol we also ordered a hookah and it came out in a timely manner as well! Wanted to try a new place in the area, upon entering we weren’t really greeted and staff were just staring until it was communicated we had to pay to sit down. You’d think that would be said as you enter, as not everyone will be familiar. It just felt very awkward. It did not feel like a welcoming environment, as the person taking your money to sit down didn’t seem enthused. The tables were dirty and you’re given plastic cutlery for tough meat. Margaritas tasted like mostly syrup, did not even resemble an actual margarita, though they served their purpose. I feel like we paid for nothing to really be enjoyable and just stared at. I definitely see the vision for the place and the fact you can smoke and such in there is an attractive part, but overall it’s very low quality at a high price. It’s just very disappointing as a customer when the amount you’re paying doesn’t reflect in the establishment itself at all. We could have paid less at a spot in downtown St. Louis and gotten better drinks, larger menu selection, cleaner more inviting atmosphere, etc. I guess we should have paid more attention to the reviews.
