This adorable home town bowling alley is a place to visit in Heber Springs. It is so cute and the family who owns it are the sweetest people! This is the third year that L & M Bowling has reserved the entire facility for us for our (Grandon) family reunion. We paid a flat fee and had a BALL, pun intended :)
This activity was great for our small and large, young and old. We bowled and they even gave us an old pin to use as a trophy for our tournament winner.
It is my understanding that L & M Bowling hosts a group of tournament players on a regular basis, but is not usually a packed house. I recommend this venue for any kind of summer party where people young and old may enjoy some AC in an affordable, clean, organized, local business. Three years running for my family, hopefully more.
The owners are SUPER NICE, they want YOUR business, and they make you feel like family. I am not a local person but my family members live in Heber. We used to have an annual golf tournament, but this venue attracted more participants and is such silly fun! Many participants use ball rollers and/or gutter bumpers. We play 2 games, highest pin count wins, simple. Plus we order pizza, nachos, and soda to enjoy. An arcade is there with kid games for small prizes, which they play a little.
I hope that more local people use this business to celebrate their family times and business meetings. It is clean. Right in town. Not crowded. Affordable. Group ready. L & M Bowling is a hometown business you should like to prosper - a...
Read moreWe've camped at Heber Springs for many years and I was so excited when L & M Bowling opened their doors after the new owner remodeled. They've been opened for a handful of years now and it's still just as well-maintained and clean as it was the day they opened. The staff is friendly, lanes are always oiled, house balls are always in order by weight, the game room has a variety of arcade games including air hockey and consoles, and the consession options have a nice variety. It's a fairly busy weekend spot that's enjoyed by young children, teenagers, adults on dates, and grandparents that can throw a mean strike. We live an hour and 45 minutes away and this is still the bowling alley we go to the most. We always have such a great time that we plan 1 game but always end up playing more. Even the kids have a lot of fun on...
Read moreWe travel a lot and always try to find the local bowling alley. This place was nicer than expected based on limited photos and outside appearance. The lanes were in good shape and the employees/owners were very nice.
Tip: Bring cash for the digital jukebox. It was eerily quiet inside when we arrived. Glad they have the option to at least pay for music.
The biggest disappointment was that they don’t sell beer. Bowling and beer go together! Our group only played two games and left due to lack...
