The manager is the rudest and most inconsiderate person I've ever met. I first called and spoke to him before heading over because I wanted to know if the item I was looking to pawn/sell was within the scope of items they normally accept. He seemed almost appalled that I would ask such a question, and continued to imply that I was being dishonest about the nature of the item. After a ridiculously vague, lazy, and reluctant "maybe" for an answer to my question, I rushed out front door and drove straight over to the store, as it was closing in 20 minutes. I got there at 5:58pm, 2 minutes before closing. After i waited patiently for about 5 minutes, the manager finally acknowledged I presence and then rudely borated me for having the audacity to come in to the store that late, and said it would take too long to process my item, which I can understand. I then even said to him that I understood, and I then tried to quickly ask if the item in my hand is something they might take. In other words, would it be worth my time to bring it in another time? But he wouldn't hear a single word I tried to say; as soon as he finished his monologue he immediately turned around and walked away. Needless to say I will not return there and I hope I can deter any others from having to deal with this...
Read moreThe staff was very polite, friendly, and professional over the phone. I was not fed any false hope to bait me in to coming into the shop, the honesty was there from the beginning. When we went into the shop, it was a clean and pleasant environment. Each person in the staff had a professional appearance and a smile. The gentleman who helped me was kind and fair, it was uncomfortable circumstance that brought me in but I never felt demeaned or out of place. Robert explained to me what I had and how I could tell if my items were real. He was informative, caring, and most importantly he was fair. He showed me the importance of sentimental pieces, such as family heirlooms. I didn’t feel pressured to sell those items and he didn’t rush us.
