I finally found him. Cesar an outstanding chef. If there's anything in the Asian cuisine that can be made this gentleman with his knife skills can do it. He made outstanding sushi sashimi different type of sushi rolls. He has done and has a knife skills of a master. I have known him for over 20 years now and he is only gotten better. It was to my surprise that he was working there I wanted to try to place out and I was very pleased place was clean it's very intimate place the service was quick and fast and didn't have to ask for anything. I would think anybody working with him will be learning from this great Master of the Asian cuisine I am spoiled I've been around him and I know him. But I know them that staff must be running on clockwork because of the great understanding of the Asian cuisine that is there and what you can order different types of roles different types of Asian food and it is outstanding. Being stationed over in Okinawa and in mainland Japan. I know what the food tastes like and it tastes just like what I had there. It's right here in the Hemet/San Jacinto area. I am very thankful that I took a chance. It was well worth it and I'm glad it's even closer to me now. It is food it can get very quickly but it is very good food for you. It's good to say those those words that you can have fast food and have good food in the same breath. Eating there is very reasonable and good. It's not as hard on you as other things like hamburger, pizza, or other deep fried foods. I'm excited you'll be excited and you will enjoy yourself. When I went at a time I did it was only for the people in the building we were all spaced out and everybody was spaced out between each other and we didn't even know everybody was there it was nice and quiet too. A great place to go to and you should put on your list especially if you like ...
Read moreFood is great and the place could be a regular go to for me and my employees after we finish our day of work. But if we are treated the way we where last night then I will never be back here. We never got a welcome or smile from the waitress and she was constantly rude. When we wanted to order she rushed us and started it off with "what do you want" not "what could I get you today" or "how may I help you" no just a rude what do you want. While ordering everyone at the table begun to order but felt rushed. She kept moving on and didn't let us finish. Some of us even wanted to order more but felt we would annoye her more. She never said anything that a good customer service waitress should like could I get you anything else or even asked if we are doing ok. When we where finished we sat and talked for a bit. She begun to buss the table and even took stuff that still had food. I can tell she just wanted to clock out. We then just brushed it off and continued to talk and drink. We still had beers and sake. Bit when she came back she very rudely asked "are you done with all the cups" we have never felt this overwhelming feeling of GTFO in our lives. She could have just told us she is closing up but as we walked out we saw other tables still with food and cups. We had no idea why we where rushed away. In the end we spent $375. We wanted to spend around $500 but we where never given the chance to order more. I like this place but the service is just terrible. I understand this is hemet but to be treated like that was disrespectful to the fullest. If you have some respect for yourself....
Read moreThis review is from my experience here in 2023. I visited Hemet and did a research to find what could be a good eat here. Saw this place with quite good reviews at 4.5 stars so decided to check it out. Big mistake. I'm an avid fan of sushi and have it at least once a week. This is by far the worst sushi I ever had in my life. I should have walk away when I saw that not a single person in this restaurant looks like they know anything about Japanese food. From a host to servers to a chef behind the counter, none of them are Asian. I gave benefits of the doubt, maybe they got trained well. Not. I ordered a few rolls (because there's no nigiri or sashimi on the menu) with extra order of avocado added. When the three rolls arrived, I did not see any avocado. Upon asking, I was told the hint of green on the sushi rice is the extra avocado I ordered. Looks like they have an avocado butter and brushed it on the rice. This is $1 extra added to the price of the roll, mind you. Fish was not fresh. I couldn't finish it. Not sure why they got good rating for this quality of food. I'm writing this review just so that anyone who expects to find a good Japanese food can set their expectations if they decide to come...
