New customers beware! After contacting Ayer and goss to become my new fuel provider for one of my rentals and informing them that my previous providers tank was below 15% I was told that it would be taken care of. I hold several accounts with them and have switched other addresses with them in the past with making the same call being asked the same questions and giving the same answers. Instead of swapping out the tank they sent a delivery driver twice over the course of a month that delivered 0 gallons. After reviewing my bill I realized this and called. I was told over and over again that it is illegal to deliver propane to another providers tank but that they could swap the tank within a few days. My house is frozen solid my toilet blown apart, I was told a supervisor would contact me a few weeks ago and I wouldn’t be writing this review if they had. Do not trust Ayer and goss they are no better then other providers, hiding there mistakes and leaving you frozen and telling you it’s your fault. They are not the small customer friendly company they make them selves out to be. They’re actually owned by a much larger fuel provider and when a problem arises will hide and claim no...

We had a great conversation, everything was talked about, they had a full understanding of what we were doing. Called to get in the delivery schedule as they said. The woman was on vacation so had to wait nearly a week. Called and was told she needed to speak with the technician and I would get a call back. I did not. I did receive an email, however, stating they would not be able to place or fill a tank at the barn. I spoke with four different people at this company and all of them knew the tank was to be hooked up to an RV for consistent winter heating. Yet after discussions and inspections all of sudden they cannot even fill a tank if we purchased one on our own. That makes no sense. Not impressed with the communication or attitude of some of these employees and I will be taking my business elsewhere, especially when I complete the build on our home and install the propane...
Read moreIt was 9:30 this morning, Thanksgiving day.. Got to the shop, it was 43 deg. and that damn propane furnace was determined it was not going to come on. Called Ayer + Goss answering service; on call tech got right back to me. Thought he might be a little testy being Thanksgiving and all. In fact very friendly, patient ,and helpful. We talked about what might be wrong, he concluded pouring a little hot water on the regulator given the heavy rain yesterday and sharp drop in temp. might get me going. I was back in business in 20 min. Expert advice delivered in a timely and friendly manner that solved the problem. Maybe something not so unusual back in the 50's but scarcer than hen's teeth today....
