The Villas at The Hotel Hershey℠ — Local services in Hershey

Just okay we are staying for a long weekend and have been little disappointed . Under amenities it list special check in but we waited in the line with everyone else . The room was new and very nice . Sheets were scratchy . The bathroom is very nice went to use the tub and the light above the tub was broke and the bathroom was so cold with the room being warm decided not to bother . In the evening we were able to watch the deer in the back yard . It was quiet. Breakfast was okay better than most continental breakfasts we have had . We were married on Friday and celebrating a birthday also -told them this when asked by concerige in email prior to arrival and when made reservations never mentioned no congratulations , birthday was ,acknowledged just found that odd. Lastly ordered roses for room was told would be in room when arrived that’s what wanted hours later knock on door “here is your roses”it’s nice ,worth the extra money not so sure . I have stayed in five star luxuary they miss the mark here . We try to do a get away every year at this time next year pbly go back Bedford springs or nemacolan they seem go the extra . Recently stayed at villas and will not be returning. First they don’t tell you a number of them are set up at a lower level with no elevator. So you have to lug your suitcases down at least 10-12 cement steps. Then the worse part is the chairs they have for you to use in villas are the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had at a hotel or park. Each time my wife and I tried to use one had terrible back ache for days. For what you are charged it’s ridiculous. We actually cut our stay short as we had no place to sit in the room. Would have preferred folding chairs to these chairs. When checked at front desk I was told same chairs are in all the rooms and they have had complaints.
