El Car Wash - West Hialeah — Local services in Hialeah

UPDATE 05/2025 I'm a fan of the El Car Wash franchise in general. I've been a loyal customer since 2016 and I've used several of their many locations. I LOVE the fact that they have so many locations. They're EVERYWHERE these days - from Kendall all the way up to W Palm Beach. If you purchase a membership you get access to all locations which gives you the added convenience of having a car wash available 7 days a week and always nearby regardless of where you are when you need/ want to wash your car. As far as I can tell, they seem to have more locations than any other car wash franchise in Florida. I guess that's why they have impressive sponsorships such as The Miami Heat, FL Panthers, and Baptist Hospital. I've had different and pleasant experiences in all of them so far, but this particular location, the W Hialeah branch is conveniently located right off Okeechobee Road near The Palmetto Expressway and is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I'm not the only one that likes this place and it's also one of the busiest. Despite that, they keep the line moving smoothly although lots of times, like most locations, the line overflows to the street and slows down traffic - sometimes as far back as Okeechobee Road, but that's beyond their control. Nevertheless, they manage to keep the line moving. First of all the machines do an excellent job! If you're a veteran automated car wash customer like me, you know that not all car washes properly clean your vehicle. I still haven't had a bad wash at this location. This location also has a CLOTH ROLLER DRYER in addition to the air dryer. I was IMPRESSED with how well it dried - virtually spotless and gentle on my brand new car's paint! I usually drive a new car, so I'm picky when it comes to paint swirls and the thoroughness and quality of each wash. I don't even like to have my car waxed because you can see the swirl marks at a certain angle, especially in sunlight and there's a lot of that in S FL/ Miami LOL. Not all locations have this cloth roller dryer. I highly recommend it. This location also has AIR HOSES, which I love to use for dusting the interior, carpet, and drying out the lights and front grille. To top it off, this location also has complimentary microfiber cloths, and they're open until 9 PM. The other locations...

This can be one of the worst experiences at a car wash. I went this afternoon and the machine broke the windshield wiper brushes (I will attach photos so you can see the damage that this company's machine can cause). I spoke with a lady and she told me that she should talk to the manager. She would call him. I waited approximately 10 minutes and since there was no response I searched for it. The manager is the same person who gives instructions to the cars once they enter the washing machine. I told him that I needed to talk to him and he told me that he should wait. I patiently wait 20 minutes. When he came and saw the damage by himself he told me to read the sign. I asked him which sign and he took me to see a sign that says that the company is not responsible for a number of things and he pointed out the first one that says “rear windshield wipers” I told him that that says they are the rear ones and as you can see the machine broke the front ones. He insists that he can't do anything because it says that they are not responsible. In short, it is difficult to have a discussion with someone who first is not prepared to serve customers and second, it is clearly seen that it is the company's policy to simply not respond. For my part, I only have to cancel the 2 subscriptions I have with this company and repair, at my own expense, the damage that this company caused to my car. Please, if you value your vehicles, do not use this car wash not only because it damages the cars but because they clearly will not respond. This is how they train their staff. If I could rate this place zero stars I would, I had this membership for a year it is very convenient for a quick was but I will NEVER go back to any of these car washes. My car was hit inside the automatic car wash as it was getting washed the machine had a malfunction cause long my car to hit the car in front of me several times and the car behind me also hit me several times. The incident happened October 29th. Today is November 26th and I have yet to receive a resolution for my car. This is ridicules and very unprofessional of them, I had to contact the customer service department more than 10 times in order to get a call from the General Manager Daniel Benitez. When he finally reached out to me he asked me to take my car to the car wash so he could see the damages on my car this was on Friday, November 10th he recorded our conversation WITHOUT my consent and took picture of my car. He assured me that I would have a response by the end of that week.. Never reached out to me, I got in contact with him again Thursday November 23rd and he stated that he was waiting for the claims department to send him the work order (which is ridiculous because it does not take that long) I am forced to contact my lawyer to handle my case because clearly I am not resolving anything by speaking to these unprofessional workers from El Car Wash. I also would like to mention I have proof of my car getting hit inside the car wash because I happened to me recording before the incident happened. With that being said, be very careful washing your cars in this place, what happened to me can happen to anyone else and it is very frustrating that the executive team cannot take care...
