Target in Hialeah, FL has the worse customer service! I purchased Doom 4 for PS4 on Cyber Monday 2018 for $15 online and when it arrived the disc was rattling inside of the case so I went to the store to return for refund because their website was showing that all the nearby stores including the Hialeah Store had 0 inventory for the game.
After I had returned the game in the returns section I started walking inside of the store to see if anything else interested me in the video games section and I found another copy in the games section of the game that I returned (even though it said they had 0 in stock online) and they refused to price match their own price after I returned for a refund (thinking it was sold out) because they claim that they have to go by the online price and cant go by the receipt that I had that showed I purchased it for $15 instead of the $30 it was showing in the store shelves.
Its pretty disappointing that they wouldnt price match their own prices with a customer receipt showing that I purchased the item at that price but had to return it because it was damaged during shipping and that their inventory counts on their website were incorrect. I make sure that any time I have to visit Target I avoid the Target location in Hialeah and instead drive to either Broward or Miami for my needs at Target instead of the Hialeah location.
I actually had a pretty similar situation recently (09/2019) at a Target location in Miami where a video game was showing up for $15 online but when I scanned it in the self checkout it was showing up for $25 and the cashier price matched their own online price without any hassles but that was at a Target at a different location, the difference in customer service was like night and day compared to the Hialeah location which has horrible...
Read moreRead moreHorrible Customer Service. I called to simply ask if they have an Apple iPad charger. The women in electronics does NOT speak English and immediately groaned and transferred me to another department as soon as I spoke (you know, the main language in America). The next person I spoke to barely spoke English and placed the phone down for 15 minutes. I got the pleasure of hearing her help other customers while she ignored me the entire time. I then hung up and asked to speak to a manager. Tenisha then picks up with a “What do you want?” attitude and when I proceed to explain that I was made frustrated by her employees, she offered NO apologies and no sympathy. You’re the manager, take responsibility for your employees!!! It would’ve cost her nothing to say “I’m sorry you had that experience”, instead she just rushed the call to get rid of me. I went to Wal-Mart first to see if they had it and the employees made a genuine effort and spoke their best English to help me, they even explained “We no have two weeks, no come in. Sorry”. That’s something, at least they tried and explained to me the situation and apologized. I had horrible, careless customer service at Target and I’m buying from someone else online. You just lost a sale and continuous business. Target, if you’re going to hire people that don’t speak English to save a penny, at least pick people that slightly care about helping. I’ll take a Martian using Google Translate over what I had to endure today :( The excuse that “It’s Hialeah, what did you except?” is UNACCEPTABLE! If you don’t provide good service, don’t expect to be in business in...
So if I’m being 100% honest, I would have to admit that, before I knew what great customer service and premium products Target actually had to offer, I was skeptical as to why I would even shop there instead of at Walmart, thinking back then, haha boy was I clueless. Nowadays there is a ton of reasons why I exclusively shop at Target, and just to name a few: Target's Red card debit/credit which also grants you 5% off each time you checkout online or in person, very clean store with quality products to back up the overall presence of the store’s good vibes. TLMD delivery, game changer, get your package as quick as the same day. They also have delightful customer service and care. They have a freaking mascot, the lovable bull terrier “Bullseye” 🎯 Honestly, I could go on and give you whole other lists of reasons why Target is the better place to shop at for me but, our time is very valuable, and unless Target wants to make me an official sponsor and cut me in a sweet deal that’ll make it worth my while, then I gotta cut this review. Regardless, It’s my pleasure to share my experience with everyone, dive in to all the perks they have to offer and decide for yourself if its worth it or not, spoiler alert: it’s worth it. As a matter of fact, I’ve psyched myself up enough to the point that I remembered they have some stellar deals going on right now that I wouldnt forgive myself if I let them...
