It's really frustrating and upsetting to be accused of something you didn't do. I was just trying to look at items in the store and one of the lady’s came up to me and accused me a theft.(I was holding the shirt in my hand) I slipped the shirt over my own to see if it fit (it was a tank top like shirt that you could see my own shirt underneath) because I didn’t see any dressing rooms and people have tried stuff on in the store before. If there had been a sign that said no trying on then I wouldn’t have up it on. it was very obvious I wasn’t stealing I put it on and then instantly took it off, i understand if it seemed like it but it simply wasn’t the case. She snatched the shirt out my hand and told me it would be set off by the alarms if I tried to take it. (The shirt was 10$….) I’ve never stolen!!! I am a teenage kid I’m 17 and being accused of theft is very scary as a young girl. I apologized and asked if she was accusing me of theft and she lied to my face and give me an attitude, she was very rude and started making up random stuff to make me look bad. I was also with a young boy my age and she didn’t give him the same treatment as she did with me. Nor anyone else. I don’t complain often and I don’t like to complain but I felt really mistreated and very hurt by that woman’s actions. I also noticed around the store had basically trash, broken necklaces and broken items, i understand it’s a thrift store but if you are so worried about a 10 dollar shirt then at least look at your other items and make sure they are at least worth selling…. I also saw items that were very over priced and not worth the value. Walking in I felt very off, it wasn’t pleasant being...
Read moreBy far the best antique mall my husband and I have ever visited. Everything is very clean and organized. Not at all grimy or dusty. There is plenty of room for comfortable browsing. The shopping experience is relaxed, not chaotic like most antique malls we've visited. The owner is incredibly kind, helpful, and passionate about antiques. We shop there several times a year, and often come in looking for a very specific item. Every time, the owner has walked with us around entire the mall/store and helped us search for the perfect item. He has also given us tips on authentic vs. inauthentic antiques. There have been a couple of occasions when I found an item that seemed a little overpriced, and the owner called the booth vendor to see if he could negotiate with them over the phone. One time, I found a shelving unit in the antique mall that was not for sale, but was so incredible that I "had to have it." The owner again worked with the booth vendor to negotiate a price so that I could buy the previously not-for-sale bookcase. I can't recommend this place enough, nor can I say enough wonderful things about the owner or the...
Read moreI have been shopping at this location for years, and the staff is very rude and judgemental to their customers. The last time I was shopping I brought up several items to purchase, and the lady tending the cash register was busy talking to another customer about her social life for several minutes, usually talking rudely about others, very unprofessional. By the time she had finally came over, she was very passive aggressive, Accusing me of stealing when I never did, with no proof at all, quite out of the blue. She told me she just SPECULATED I did with no proof to show...She told me I was not welcome back and that i was kicked out for good, losing another regular customer, and did not get to purchase my items, nor did i really want to at that point i just left with no fuss...her tone was extremely rude and extremely passive aggressive. I was a very frequent shopper here, always bought something everytime I visited despite the prices being a little outrageous on some items for their actual worth. I do not recommend shopping here with such rude and judgemental staff that will...
