Dollar General — Local services in Higgins Township

Dollar General has the lowest price in the village for our daily bread ( white and wheat )when shopping for the lowest price, the list breaks down like this, BP for milk and black cherry ice cream, Dollar General for bread , and Family Dollar for everything else. Family Fare has high prices. Since they carry the only fresh fruit and produce in town, eating healthy is less likely to be affordable for poor folk like me. I wish healthy choices were more accessible and encouraged by low prices or better yet no prices at all ,after all, pricing our needs costs us our lives.Why do we need to earn a living? Aren't we already alive? 😀 Food doesn't charge money ,but greedy people do, we shouldn't pay for anything that machine automation can produce for us. I could drone on all day about freeing humanity, seriously, how did humanity let it's enslaving happen and can we please stop it? Money is only paper, humanity is the real product we should be producing for a living. We need to Populate the Universe or we will pay for it ultimately becoming Extinct. I simply see and tell the truth , you can't grow a human tree of life or accomplish anything if compensate for it, it becomes null. Doesn't logic, or reason, state so obvious our purpose is to live. That Life must Live, we have a name address and phone number, these are the inalienable rights that must be addressed ,and named it is as my ,to you this hour ,now Our calling. Honestly, the store is always very cluttered and dirty. I can't believe that the CEO would allow this dollar general store to represent their company. Staff is hit and miss. Some days very nice, other days too busy talking to each other to give the customer any respect. I'm not sure what's up with this store, but the family dollar is always clean. Step it up employees. Be proud of where you work and show your customers you respect them enough to provide a clean, safe store to shop in. I try to keep most of my business locally, but I'm no longer going to shop here if it's not cleaned up. I keep trying to give them a chance, but every time I go in there it's REALLY filthy. Managers, hold your employees accountable. I'm sorry to have to give a review like this, but it's the truth. Live and learn...just...

Went in to buy banana peppers because our local family fare was out. When I went in the shelves were bare. I noticed they had freight in front of the drinks (always like this) so I figured I’d ask if they had any in the back. I went up front, one of the cashiers was leaving so I asked the other woman behind the counter, she had to pull out her headphones to talk to me (why do you have headphones on behind the counter where you’re supposed to be helping customers?) she told me exact words “I’m not looking in the back it’s filled back there we just got a truck yesterday” You need to either hire more people so you can get your freight out (you’re losing money by stuff not being on the shelves) or hire some more motivated workers 🤦‍♀️ Incident happened on 07-19-20 at...
