I recently had a terrible experience with Furniture Clearance Center, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from going through the same ordeal.
I purchased a King size bed from this store on October 7th, and the salesperson assured me of the full amount of $3200, which included free delivery. After we paid in full, we went home and later evening they called us and claimed they had miscalculated and demanded an additional $1800. The so-called boss displayed appalling rudeness and refused to uphold the original agreement.
We were promised delivery by October 17th, as indicated on the bill receipt. However, when we called to confirm, they claimed they couldn't find our receipt and suggested that we had called someone else. This blatant inconsistency and disregard for customer service left us deeply frustrated.
Our attempts to visit the store in person were met with further hostility from the owner. He refused delivery but offered a refund while displaying an unacceptable level of anger and aggression. This is not how any business owner should treat their customers. To makes matters worse, they held our money for two weeks without providing the service we paid for, preventing us from investing it elsewhere. This is not only reflects poor business practices but also a lack of respect for their customers time and finances. I ask to take a picture of the original copy and few other receipts but he snatch paper from my hand before I took a picture of it, and told us to leave.
