Stopped in today with my daughters to do a little shopping. We were all eager to look around, the shop was very cute and had a lot of items. We were greeted nicely as we walked in. After about 5-10 minutes in the shop, the energy shifted and I started to feel as if the apparent mother and daughter duo running the place were being odd. As we continued shopping it quickly became obvious they were following us around. At that point I told my daughter we were done shopping here and I didnât appreciate being followed by the women, which as intensely as they were trying to listen to us, I know overheard. We purchased one item only because I didnât want to tell one of my daughters to put the overpriced chocolate back. The checkout seemed a bit awkward, likely because I know the woman heard me.
If youâre going to run a shop, it would be fiscally beneficial to not judge your customers based on whatever standards it appears you seem to have. Iâm sure you have cameras, if not maybe you should and then you could watch a screen and not run your customers off. There wasnât one item in that store that I couldnât afford to buy. We would have certainly spent some money in there if it wasnât for that. I wasnât going to write this review but after seeing other customers had the same issue, itâs clear the behavior hasnât changed. Iâm giving 2 stars only because the shop was cute and had several items I would have likely purchased, as well as...

Over-priced, but, hey...it's Cashiers. We picked up two pairs of earrings and made sure to hold them out in plain view as we shopped, as we know we want the staff to be aware that we have them, as we know we don't look like the average tourists. Blonde female made huge deal about saying, "Let me hold those at the register for you while you shop." Basically translates to, "Let me take these from you because I feel like you are about to snatch them". Would have over-looked that, but she was not interested in holding anyone else's merchandise at the register. We did buy the earrings, but I made effort to research the designers when I got home. From now on , I'll just buy directly from them. From a retired police chief and a retired Marine: you hurt yourself, lady. Would have spent a little more and spread the word but your your judgment isn't...
Read moreWe were incredibly disappointed with our experience. We came into the store with older kids, looking to get some souvenirs and candy. When one of the kids tried to pull a lollipop pop out of a glass canister, another glass jar fell off the shelf and broke. The gentleman working in the store was incredibly rude and told us to pay for the glass. We had no problem paying for the glass and were apologetic but his demeanor was so off putting and mean, we will not be shopping in the store again. There is a bubble blower in front and a sign that says âcandy shop.â I donât know what kind of customers theyâre hoping for, but it looks welcoming for families. However, the lollipops surrounded by glass on the edge of a shelf isnât great for any customers in a candy store,...
