Cashiers Celtic Table — Restaurant in Highlands

What an amazing visit in Cashiers North Carolina! 🍀 We stopped in to see our friends Jacque and D'Ar, who just opened their brand-new Irish restaurant, Celtic Table, and let me tell you — it’s absolutely incredible! The food was beyond delicious — I had the corned beef and cabbage, and Frank had the braised short rib. Everything was cooked to perfection.

But what really stood out was the heart behind the place. While we were there, an elderly customer came in and needed a little extra comfort, and Jacque went out of her way to find cushions to make sure she could sit comfortably. You could tell this wasn’t just a restaurant — it’s a place built on kindness, care, and community.

Jacque and D'Ar are truly some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and it warms my heart to see them doing so well after just two months of being open. I wish them all the success in the world on this new adventure — they deserve it! 💚

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending the soft opening of the Cashiers Celtic Table this past Saturday. When you walk through the doors, the Irish-inspired decor sets the mood.

We grabbed drinks from the well-stocked bar, and sat to review the menu. If you like Irish food with a Cashiers flare, this is the place for you.

The staff is delightful and attentive. The menu offers something for everyone. We shared an appetizer, salad, and the fish and chips. Everything tastes fresh and cooked with care. Each course well-paced, allowing my husband and I to enjoy a new dining experience.

Overall, the Cashiers Celtic Table is one to not miss. I cannot wait to see what else the bring to the table as they grow...

Great atmosphere and service. Nice drink and food selection offered. 4 star rating due to fish being over-cooked and somewhat small portion for the fish n chips and salad overdressed. Also was celebrating husband's birthday and no one acknowledged it even though I indicated on reservation. They did offer to put a candle in our dessert if we ordered one but overall was underwhelmed as far a being a great place for a birthday celebration. Having said that, we will try again and do appreciate a new place to dine...
