I wish I could give 5 stars here because Tina is fantastic to work with in the office, and she deserves 10 stars truthfully for the lengths she will go to help you. I've had a few units at this location over the years, and Tina has been there since well before Extra Space took it over. She is by far the best person to work with on site for anything. 4 stars is a good way to get the attention of HQ because it's not perfect..

The missing star is for the insane dynamic pricing model used to determine what you should be paying as opposed to what you are already paying. On the contract agreement that should be explained in bold as dynamic pricing and never locked in. 100% increase effective month 6 was what I got this time and 65% the last time. We all know those notices only go one way and that's to let us know we should pay more, not less. We should be allowed to negotiate down our rent when demand is down to save some money...you can't be the only ones allowed to make good financial decisions...

Tina is a wonderful person! We traveled from Delaware to our unit in Hillsborough on a Sunday (because traffic is much lower) only to find that there was a big red lock on our unit as if we hadn’t made our payment. We always make our payments for everything on time mind you. Turns out my card expired and we didn’t receive a notification so it was just a card issue. Tried contacting life storage since we had driven so far only for the office to be closed and our unit locked. After sitting on site waiting for a call back-we saw who we later learned to be Tina and asked her for assistance. It was Tina’s day off and she went out of her way to check the system, see the error, have us correct the issue and unlock our unit. This was a life saver with gas prices and the time it took to get there. I highly recommend anyone to not only use life storage for their storage needs but choose this location so that you get the opportunity to meet this...

Both Tina, the resident manager, and Katie, the office manager, made me feel at home and confident that the experience would be worthwhile. The first thing that Katie did was to advise me that they had a truck that I could use, the first time for free, paying only for gasoline used, to move the possessions to the storage unit. This was after I mentioned that I had already arranged to rent a UHaul for more than $100 to do the same thing. It didn't take me long to cancel the rental. So she saved me a tidy sum right off. Since it was Holiday time there were two trays of home made cookies on the counter for customers to take. They were delicious. The paperwork was extensive but Katie prepped a lot of it from prior conversations and that made the sign up much faster. The office was spotless, as was the restroom.
