Agent tried to scam me out of $90. I went in because I thought my phone was bricked after updating and it was like 30 minutes before closing, And the woman helping me I let her know just so you know I might need to call the owner of the account because I am not the owner and she said that was OK if I ever needed a step to the side to grab The person I was with and borrowed their phone to call him. I explained her what happened and she told me that I would need to pay a $90 deductible because warranty did not cover The back of my phone which Shattered when I tripped and fell once. I Explained to her that the warranty policy And contractual agreement we signed up on, doesn't state anything like that and said all damage will be covered under warranty and then proceeded to the side to borrow my grandfather so that I can call the owner of the account and he can explain to you because he has everything pulled up right now just waiting for a phone call. She proceeded to say no, Which I found odd Because earlier she told me whenever I needed to I could. She then she just repeated everything that she just told me and I said no TF I do not, Then she said she is gonna refuse to give me service because i cursed. Maybe I should've been more respectful, but I don't like liars and especially in a professional setting. I told her , at the beginning you said I could step to the side and use my grandfather's phone to call the owner of the account whenever I need it and I just asked if you would let me after you told me that bs That made no sense, And you wouldn't let me so I know why not now. She's proceeded to start looking at the wall and repeat the same thing and I was like OK the fact that you wouldn't let me call the owner of the account Even after you told I could earlier, And now you're not even making eye contact with me and you're looking at the wall instead ,telling me that you know you got caught in a lie. I said I am going to leave now but you will be getting a bad review and I'm going to be giving your corporate office a phone call about this because this was not OK so I just want you to be prepared to possibly get talked to by your boss. I have a prepaid account and was only looking to upgrade from my Moto E4. Wanted to pay cash for a new phone. He quoted me 1,050 for the lg v40. ( Which is only $599 unlocked at Walmart) then says he could give it to me for $950 of I switch to post pay account, plus a $300 rebate...... If I make $40 payments for 24 months. Also ,I get unlimited talk and text with 6g of data with my prepaid account for only $50/mo. With the post pay account he was trying to sell me , it would be $50 for unlimited talk/text but only 4g of data+ a $20 line charge. So my bill would be $110 now! Then he tells me with the unlimited post pay plan it's only $70 with no line charge....... What! Why not start your pitch with that? Either way I don't want my bill to double ,while not owning the device until it's paid off, deal with assurion if it breaks, or be on auto pay. What a scam! So I asked to see the Moto G7 ($300) and low and behold it's not charged.
