Same experience as the midland one. Very low flavor in my steak. I ordered medium rare but I actually got rare. I'm not complaining that it was rare. That was a new experience that I haven't tried before. If I had one thing to complain about texas roadhouse is when your steak comes to your table you are ordered to cut into it to make sure its what you wanted. Maybe I'm in a genuine conversation with a family member and I just hate that im interrupted and ordered to cut into my steak until the waiter is satisfied with how my steak is cooked. Granted I see their side of their argument. There's a lot of people that just want a meal on the house and will do whatever in their power to see that through. I just never liked someone ordering me to cut into my steak and watch me attentively until I do so lol. Thats why I am loving longhorn steakhouse more and more. I feel welcomed and waiters actually leave you alone when they see people having good a conversation with who you are with. It's not as packed as texas roadhouse always is. The one thing that keeps me coming back to roadhouse is their amazing rattlesnake bites YUMMY YUMMY. In my opinion my steak houses rated as #1 as the best and 5th as the worst.

Read moreServer was attentive and courteous. When I ordered the Steak-kabob with steak fries and fresh vegetables, she said "It comes on a bed of rice. Is that okay?" I replied yes ....I was curious why she would ask that as it is clearly printed in the menu. What is also printed in the description is " and choice of one side", though this item is included in a group of steak dinners and the line beneath the heading reads "Each plate comes with a choice of two sides." It wasn't until I saw the bill that I understood why I was asked if it was okay that the steak- kabob comes on a bed of rice (but no mention that choosing two sides with this plate was actually ordering an extra side). My bad ... for not taking in all the information, but in my defense, I WAS FRAMED! The real disappointment was the food. I don't think I received a steak that was cut up and skewered; rather, I got pieces that were trimmed off of steaks that other people ordered. Half of the kabob was unchewable. The fries were limp and mushy. The broccoli was fresh. The jury is out on the perfect, uniformly sliced carrots. This is the first experience I have had at a Texas Roadhouse that was sub par. I'll eat at another one, but...
Read moreWaitress wasn't very attentive, speaking into her notepad when she introduced herself with the mask on made it very hard to hear her name eventhough i was right next to her, we were a party of 6 so i know the rest of the party didn't catch her name. She was very rushed and at first i thought, maybe she's really busy but just a few minutes later i see 6 servers leaning by the P.O.S. when our apps came, we didn't have utensils or plates and she still asked if we needed anything. I kept putting the empty plates on the edge to make it easy for her to get them when she came by but she didn't pick any one of them up, we had to keep asking for refills and bread took forever, my ribs weren't the juciest and my chili was cold, my husband ordered a med well steak and it came back med rare, she didn't bother to ask. Every time i asked her for something she'd cut me off mid sentence and tell me why she couldn't do it. Very rude in my opinion. Busser didn't bother to pick up the plates either eventhough he came by our area several times. Next time i think we'll do takeout and have a better and cleaner...
