Eagle 9 - Allen Theatres — Local services in Hobbs

Love the new seats. Wish they had a better selection of movies... they sometimes will not carry big movies which you can find at other theatres. Also, we need flavored popcorn salt!

Update to my previous review (4/19): the employees here have to do a lot more than one would expect of an employee at a movie theater. I was watching Avengers Endgame when a fight broke out involving the entire front row. Within minutes all of the male employees were in the theater trying to break up a brawl. They did well and eventually police showed up as well. The misbehaving group had broken some of the food trays off of the seats and some of them were bleeding from torn earlobes. The movie was restarted but over the next half hour we had regular interruptions as theater staff or police accompanied by the front row brawlers came back to search for items they had lost, presumably cellphones. I thought the theater managed this well, but what the heck, Hobbs! There was a shooting here last year, this town is way to small for this kind of drama. I would not let my teenager work at this theater, on the basis that some of the population coming through here is rough and I think safety can be an issue at times. Just awful place. Haven't been in 5 years and now I know why we quit. Our son wanted to see Boss Baby 2 so badly. We had him read 3 books from start to finish just so he could go. We drive an hr there and red flags already when the note on the door states that ALL Bathrooms were out of order. My husband had to leave us there to go use the restroom. Top it ofd we have 3 and 5yr olds who are NOT trained to hold their bowels. But our aon was ao excited so we proceeded on. It smelt weird in the lobby. They had 1 computer to purchase tickets and no booth attendee. The lines for tickets were long as people learnes how to buy their own tickets. Snack lines were longer. Luckily before buying snacks when my husband got back I decided to take kids to sit down while he got the snacks and find out the picture is broken. We got a refund because we didnt want to see a movie that already started or wait until later for it "may not" to be broken. So we drove an hr home while our son cried and we wasted gas. We will never return to this unprofessional and disgusting theater. We rather drive to Lubbock or wait...

been going here for a bit for dates with my boyfriend for about 2 years, staff is always rude but tonight was my last straw. We get there at 9 around when our movie starts, the staff is chatting it up and barely acknowledge us as we come in, scan our tickets and then we’re otw. as we are watching the movie, the lights turn on, midway through the movie as if it was done already? went to complain they turned them back on in about 5 mins.. no big deal… bathrooms ? dirty. Now what really put the cherry on the cake was how rude they were later, I get it it’s late you wanna close up and go home, but the doors were all locked and we went to get help, the girl with the blue hair chubby girl with an alternative look, she says to push harder, other people were trying as well but the doors wouldn’t open until the other guy had to use his whole body to push on the doors to open. Then she proceeds to mumble under her breath a curse word and walk back? No staff in sight when we went to get help btw we had to go all the way to the employees only office to get some assistance which was...
