There are many things to do there aside from the beautiful scenery. Arnies barn is rustic setting with a large fireplace good food and a gift shop. Get a glimpse of the pre-historic animals along with a meusem filled with historical events. Just walk through the past of American history. View the sink hole from the porches of Arnie's barn. The hole is being escuvated to find the cave below. This cave in is right next to the restaurant, but you can get a birds eye view from there. Taking the golf cart ride through the established cave that's already accessible was also worth the time and $$. This is a beautiful golf course that was damaged with the sink hole, so I'm not sure if you can still play there. There is a newer Bass Pro golf course just up the road towards Branson. First off, they dont do the bagpipes cannon ceremony in the winter. Disapppinted. Next, If you are expecting to drive through lots of caves, then this is going to disappoint you. There's one little cave with a waterfall. That's it. The rest is trails through trees, rocks, and a few waterfalls. It was beautiful driving along the rock ledges and over bridges. We went in mid-December with a high of 36. Take a blanket, along with your warm gear. Our cart was wrapped in plastic, which helps. The drinks are $9-$12 at the gift shop and the cave bar. Take drinks. The lighted tour was sold out so we luckily were early enough to do the before 4:00 tour. You can go at your own pace and get off the cart to look around. This was one of my favorite places in Branson area. My family visited it almost every other years. But I was so disappointed by last weekend's visit. We had to wait over 2+ hours to get the cart and many plants were damaged around the ticket building. The Shuttles to the restaurant were very rare so we had to wait much longer again than before. Christmas lights/decorations were on half way finished and they looked weird during the nature beauty. The employee at the museum entrance was rude and repeated loudly their rules. We were also not allowed to access the tower and the views were terrible around the restaurant. Because of that we decided not to eat in the restaurant. Everything there now needs...
