EDITED* They were super Sweet and gracious about giving me store credit for the full amount which I needed we just moved and everything we had was damaged when our apt flooded. I love their mission to help the homeless and addicted through Jesus, and I appreciate her readiness to correct the mistake. It means alot that it mattered to the owner. I would say that some of the prices are higher than I would expect from a thrift store, I understand it's to raise money for a cause but it should also be about helping the community, and if we are shopping at a thrift store chances are we don't have 150$ for an end table. But that's just opinion, they have some very nice pieces so if you don't thrift store shop often and like beautiful antique prices this is definitely the place to come and find a treasure, and you get to feel good that you are donating to a worthy cause and to a women that takes her customers and her stewards seriously.❤️❤️✝️✝️
I spent 266$ on a couch and love seat. Which I think is high for a thrift store but she came down from 350$ and they owed me a credit because something is previously bought wasnt stale. Which was nice of her to do. They delivered the furniture I live right behind the store but still a blessing. 3 days later the leather started to peal and crack and now there are big wholes everywhere. I can't afford...
Read moreThis place was started to help the homeless and less fortunate...but these people are hypocritical fakes... like the rest of the so-called Christians who act holier than thou and uppity... this place is just as fake and it's owner's are hypocrites! My wife and I was homeless while I've been trying to work enough to get us in a room and I finally saved up enough to get us into a room but we are broke with nothing to eat so I went back to this so-called "Daytona Outreach Center" to see if they would take back the coffee pot i purchased two days ago so we could eat but the owner just pointed at the sign saying no cash refund only store credit...even after I explained to this so-called Christian our situation and he couldn't even find it in his "Christian" heart to return the measley $5...so I just left the coffee pot on the counter and said God don't like ugly and left. so not only did they act unchristian but now they can sell the same coffee pot twice...but only after turning away two good-hearted people who don't even drink nor do drugs. you people ought to be ashamed to even call...
Read moreWe had a very nice shopping experience at the DOC last week. The lovely woman that helped us shop around the store for several items of furniture, was an unexpected surprise in a thrift store! The entire crew was engaging and enthusiastic in their work. The place is clean and nicely organized. We got excellent deals on this comfy Recliner Couch and Love Seat Set along with this Drop-Leaf Wood Table. Ignore the nail-hung temporary window coverings that's the next project! Don't let "Mega my dog" fool you, she chooses the couch over the ottoman anytime our backs are turned, nothing a good shampooing can't handle! Which is why we choose well made second hand...
