i did buy a bike from here. i went in knowing ride nows are all basically scam dealerships but not really any other options especially for new suzuki products. that being said if msrp is 16900 the out the door price they will give you is around 22k-23k. the sales manager was basically saying anything to justify the extra cost telling me that race bikes take more to set up than lets say a ninja 400. i think we are all aware no matter if its a 1000cc or a 400cc they all work the same with same concept of parts so i dont know what extra prep a 1000cc motorcycle would go through compared to a 400 or a 600cc. dont go into ride nows thinking you will get a fair deal. i knew it was a bullet id have to bite to get the bike i wanted because like i said ridenow is a mass dealership they basically have monopolies on alot of bikes and can charge basically anything they want in fees. they will have sales on their websites but thats just to get you in the door so then a salesman that doesnt even ride can spew nonsense on why freight is 1500 set up is 1500 and you have to be forced into buying a 150 dollar tracker for 1000 dollars. i honestly instantly regretted signing the papers i do like my new gsxr1000r but it was by no means a “good deal” and i left feeling taken advantage of . that being said it was my choice at the end of the day to buy the bike the sales guys and managers were doing their jobs. but please learn from my mistakes you will not get any deals at ridenow they will try to take advantage of you anyway they can and say anything just to make a sale. they are all the same no matter where you go. also i would never get work done at a ride now they are known for dropping bikes and covering it up in Jacksonville and i can assure you daytona isnt far off. on top of that their techs didnt feel comfortable switching my bike to gp shift even though it is 1 10mm bolt. and when i got my 1000cc bike home with fresh slick tires i checked the tire pressure and it was at 48psi in the rear. the 1500 prep will be the most expensive tank of gas you will ever pay for because thats all youre paying for when they prep it. when i went back to the dealership to get a refund on my warranty i brought up the issue that they didnt even check my bike before i took it. and i asked if they have cameras in the back to see. the sales manager said there was no cameras. then i asked the same question to the service manager and he said theres cameras everywhere. typical. they never even told me how to use the tracker that i overpaid for i had to ride all the way back to daytona just to get the qr code when i got my refund for the warranty. last time i will ever deal with ridenow or finance a bike for that matter. im young and this is definitely a learning experience i just hope this stops people from walking into any ridenow they are all the same ive been to 4 different ones. if you want more information on how bad ridenow is look at the ridenow sub reddit to see some more sub par stories of this stealership. have a great day. any employee reading this from daytona ridenow knows exactly who wrote this review. peace. * update their overpriced tracker i was forced to buy doesnt even work i called and they cant refund it but want me to drop my bike off to their incompetent shop for one of their uncertified 20 year old techs to replace it for me. granted i tried to refuse the tracker atleast 4 times before purchase and now it doesnt even work and i really dont want to drop my bike off at any ridenow for them to screw more stuff up. when calling the sales manager he asked “why i even bought a bike from them” i told him there is no other choice bc ride now has a monopoly on certain bikes” and he admitted ride now has a monopoly on certain bikes therefore they can charge whatever they want in fees because they have no competition. i honestly wish i had the phone call recorded. ride now is scum dudes in there have the nerve to wear a cross around their necks while they make a living on...
Read moreI want to be clear, this review is about the dealership as a whole, not the salesman. Tyler was very professional and when I pointed out all the issues, he seemed genuinely concerned and apologetic. I reached out to RideNow about a used 2019 FJR that they were advertising and started a dialogue with Tyler. He was very helpful and although he was taking ques from someone above him, he seemed to really care. He sent me some low res pictures of the bike and I decided to make the 3 hour trip to make a deal. I could tell that this deal was a money grab for the dealership, my trade was worth far more and was in perfect condition. Tyler told me that there was a $1000 inspection/service/maintenance fee because all of their bikes had gone through their service dept and been checked out thoroughly. This is where I am calling out the dealership for shady tactics. If this bike was checked out and cleared for sale at the price listed, I would not trust them to change a spark plug in my lawn mower. The bike showed obvious signs of being stored outside, which in my opinion, should have required an very in depth inspection. We'll start with the charging system. All of the lighting on this bike is L.E.D. so the draw on the generator is minimal. Yet, at idle, all the lights were flickering which shows that something was amiss. This could be a simple ground issue, a connection with corrosion, or a much more expensive issue. The fork tubes were pitted and rusted. I'm not talking about the lowers, I'm referring to the actual tubes that slide in and out of the lowers. To replace them is a very labor intensive job. The right front rotor was so galled/scored that it needed replacement immediately and called into question the function of the caliper. The left front rotor was also very worn. These three major issues that made it past the $1k inspection process told me enough about the dealership to realize that I could not trust a used bike being sold here. Now I'm sure I will get a reply about used bikes being sold "as is" and I am fully aware of that. But they had a sticker price of $13k before all their dealer and "inspection" fees. This is a price for a near perfect bike, not the "rode hard and put away wet" disaster that they are selling. I am used to dealing with honest dealerships like Sky Powersports of Lakeland or Rockstar Powersports of Brooksville and am truly amazed that in today's world, there are still dealerships that operate under the guise of misrepresentation and fine print.
I caution any buyer looking at a used bike here. Bring your own mechanic with you if you are unsure or ignorant to the "tells" of...
Read moreThe WORST experience ever! This store is FRAUD! Last Wednesday 6th around 11:30am my husband, my baby and I went to this store to check on a Yamaha XMax scooter. We decided to buy the scooter, so we started the process. They took our information, and proceeded to run our credit, finally we got a response, the bank approved us, and everything was ready to sign the papers. When the manager came to us to do the final paperwork, I asked him: How much did the bank approve? His answer was: The total amount that we didn’t know because he never went with us through with final prize, fees or interest rate applied. When my husband started signing the papers, the manager didn’t let him read the whole thing, he signed and he was just pulling each sheet from him and putting it upside down next to him, we just saw the final prize on the last sheet. Vendor just came to us to tell us that there was an issue with our scooter, was missing one part from the key to start the engine "The Fab"?, so they won’t be able to give it to us that same day, that they ordered the part overnight delivery, and they will send the scooter to our house with no charge. We understood, things happen, and we said yes that’s ok and went back home (btw we live in Orlando). Thursday, we didn’t hear anything from them, I called them on Friday to get any update, finally Trevor took my call and told me that unfortunately they didn’t get the part, but they ordered a NEW SCOOTER for us that will be delivered next week, but no further information. After Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and Tuesday I have to call everyday to get info, they never call me. The truth is they WERE LYING TO ME ON MY FACE because I was waiting for a scooter that they never sent. The General manager is rude and arrogant. They were playing with me, with my time, my family. LACK and HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION, they never contact me. There is no transparency, they hide information from the customer, why never contacted me and tell me what was happening? They play with your money, your time. At the end they never solved the problem and still nobody call me. Wednesday 13th, they asked the vendor Travis to send my husband a text message, THEY ARE COWARDS! I went there today and nobody knew who told me that my scooter was on its way. Managers? Do you know what happens...
