I was so excited after my first meeting with Carrie- She was very polite and professional during our first meeting where we picked out the finishes for my custom home. I had no idea that would be the only meeting where I would be in a good place with her and the team. When it came time for delivery nothing arrived on time- which is understandable given the current landscape; however, there was no call or information to us that our lighting, flooring and cabinetry would be delayed. We found out via our builder who explained that if we did not have the lighting installed we would not pass inspection which would lead to more delays-after calling The Home Center- we were told that the lighting had arrived but there was no one to deliver the shipment. In an effort to help my husband drove from Wake Forest to Holly Sprigs at the direction of staff at the Home Center only to arrive and e told by Carrie there was no lighting as it hadn't arrived and asked why were we involved as it makes things worse. We explained we are only interested in our home and we were trying to be helpful- she further explained that they don't keep extra fans/lighting and that we could go and procure them at a facility that had stock. We did to ensure our build could move forward- only to find out later the fans and lights we never received were not removed from our cost sheets and at some point they were delivered although she was the person at the center who knew they should have been cancelled as they did not make it to our home. When I tried to get help she explained to me to talk with my builder. If that wasn't enough our order was not placed correctly- details of what I asked were not done and generally there was no paperwork to confirm. If you go with this company which I would strongly caution against - make sure each detail is spelled out from how far your tiling should go to the number of each item on your list.
