Please note- Updating my review 3 years later. I originally gave this place 5 stars all the way. However, itās turned into a very miserable place to live. I regret resigning my most recent lease as now Iām stuck for 1 more year. Iāve had nothing but disrespectful neighbors the last 4 to 6 months. Iāve had to complain about my neighbor more times than I should have to. I feel as though the office/ leasing management does not care about the residents (keep in mind, thereās been a change in management not long ago).
My neighbor directly next to me watches his girlfriendās dogs Monday- Friday & I have to deal with constant barking/ howling. All Iām told is that heās not violating anything even though he clearly stated they are not his own pets. How is that fair for me to deal with pets that donāt technically live here?
Now, I have another new neighbor that shares my other wall (bedroom wall). This neighbor is either blasting music with a sound bar or playing an instrument so loud that my entire apartment vibrates.
Iāve had previous issues with neighbors / dogs over the last year. I just feel like the office doesnāt care to help with noise complaints. I work from home and itās just miserable now. Counting down the months until I can move!!
āāāāāāāāāā With being from the Chicago area, I had to do all my apartment research from a completely different state. I ended up signing my lease without even seeing it in person first (scary, I know). However, the Leasing Office staff were extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. Every question I had, they answered within 24-48 hrs. Again, with being so far away, the leasing office staff made my transition into my new apartment home very smooth. I spoke with Fiona during the entire process and she treated me like I was family!
As for the apartment homes, they are EXTREMELY clean and very spacious. With the 9 ft ceilings, the apartment feels more like living in a house. Out of all my apartment experiences, this one has the most storage. The apartment complex is super quiet, which I can truly appreciate with having to work early hours. My neighbors are extremely friendly and the location overall feels safe. The location is also very convenient as it is located very close to grocery stores and other shopping centers.
Out of all my apartment experiences, this was the most clean apartment home I've ever had, including the apartment complex grounds as a whole.
Overall, I'm very excited to call Villages at Pecan Grove...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlthough I decided to choose a different apartment for personal reasons, I feel itās important to share my experience with William and acknowledge his exceptional work.
During my apartment search, I interacted with many leasing agents, and sadly, most of them left me with a negative impression due to their lack of interest or passive attitude. William, however, stood out in every possible way. From the very first interaction, he demonstrated a high level of professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for his work.
William explained every detail about the apartment, the leasing process, and the community. He patiently answered all of my questions, no matter how small or specific, and made sure I felt confident and informed. Itās clear that he not only takes his job seriously but also truly enjoys helping people, which is rare to see these days.
What impressed me the most was how approachable and attentive he was. Communicating with him was easy and enjoyable, and his positive attitude and dedication created a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. It was refreshing to work with someone who genuinely cares about their clients and puts so much effort into making the process smooth and stress-free.
While I ultimately decided on a different place for personal reasons, I wholeheartedly recommend working with William to anyone interested in this complex. He truly sets a standard for what a leasing agent should be, and I believe anyone would have a wonderful experience with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThough this is a beautiful place to live and all is well when you live there, pay your bill on time (which I did) But, beware of that final bill as we moved out 10/14/2020 and today 12/11/2020 I received and email from Hunter Warfield a debt collection agency resulting from nonpayment of our final bill. When I called the community and spoke with Fiona was told a final bill was mailed once and no other attempt was made by the villages at pecan grove to notify despite having my personal email (which hunter warfield apparently had) and not one single phone call was made to notify me. Rather after being an resident with and excellent payment history the blame was quickly shifted in my direction as Fiona explained 1-I was told to be āon the lookoutā for the final bill 2-they have ātoo manyā residents to call and/or email final notice bills 3-I didnāt give the correct mailing address because the new street address and apartment number was provided before the street name (ie 123-unit a blank ave instead of 123 blank ave unit a) either way the address is the same regardless. As someone that values my credit score and payment credibility I am extremely disappointed of the handling of notification of the final bill. So, word from the wise...make sure that you contact this office once you move out because once your no longer paying them on time monthly they are apparently too busy to make any effort to notify you of your final bill, instead turn you over to a debt...
