Horrible customer service!!! Called them and began explaining my situation to the guy who answered the phone. He interrupted me and said you’ll need to talk to our repair service… I’ll transfer you. It rang several times, and went to a voicemail that was already full. I called back… And the guy said you will need to call pioneer, we won’t deal with you. I would’ve actually potentially bought a new product from them, had they determined that my system was not repairable… He never offered. He was apparently interrupted by my call. I would never make the call to them again.
To address the owners reply… car- CALL (edited for typo). I never came to you because he told me that since my unit was a pioneer that they would not even touch it. The issue was the rudeness as others have indicated. Sending me to a full voicemail and thereby forcing me to call him back ONLY TO HAVE HIM SAY that you guys wouldn’t deal with a Pioneer. Why did he not tell me that in the first conversation? Because he wasn’t interested really in talking to me. So no, you would not have a record of selling me anything because your person answering the phone was so rude… Read the comments, Friend… I’m not the only one… Maybe you should look inside your corporation and make some changes.

   Read moreMy experience at Rickwood Radio: -Called the day before appointment for confirmation and re-quoted me 25$ more than he had said during our first conversation. I didn't mind, I had heard they do good work. -Dropped my car off and didn't hear back until I called 30 minutes before close asking for an update. Mentioned that they could not install the supplied headunit. -Heard a tapping noise when driving off. Removed car lining and discovered they just LEFT all the wiring in the car meant for the headunit without telling me. -When I went to return the headunit that didn't fit, I noticed they didn't give me all my wiring back. I called back to ask for the wires and was told that I will receive a call shortly. When I never received a call, I drove back and was given all but 1 set of (speaker) wire because they had just "thrown it away."
When trying to explain all this to the manager, I was met with nothing but resistance, rude remarks, and constant interruption. When the conversation elevated into an argument I accepted my fate and walked out.
At least the amp and subs they installed are working great. That's why they get 2 stars and not 1. If he apologized ONCE for the myriad of mistakes I would have given him 4 stars as we all have bad...

I am a manger in customer service and instead of you focusing on trying to fix the problem, he was more focused on being RUDE. I asked for someone over him and he told me there was no one and that he was the highest boss. I then asked for the owner and he told me I couldn’t speak to the owner and would be directed back to him and that I could leave. I left there and went to another audio shop (which I could’ve done 2 weeks ago) that was so professional I didn’t want to have my radio repaired which cost less than $50, I bought and entire audio system and had my windows tinted!! “MrManager” work on your customer service skills, because “US customers” is what has keeps you in business and I would never hire you...
