Who ever is over this establishment doesn't care about this store itself at all. I have personally made several complaints to all the managers from John, Ed, Jeff and Amber. I even emailed as they say to the cooperate. I and a few others even stopped coming to this location because nothing was changing and yet still haven't. I recently came back about 2 months ago with my mom and wasn't pleased at all. My mom was trying to look at a pair of shoes and this lady by the name of Rosa snatched it out of my mom hands. Yes we exchanged words. Her and her boyfriend Jose always cause some commotion in this store. And NOTHING has been done about it. ( I asked a familiar customer did she know their names ). I was told they have had several complaints from everything that I'm stating and warnings but yet they are still allowed in this store. They push their way through the doors in the morning RUNNING. I've seen them deliberately hold items away from other customers just to be mean towards them. 3 years ago Jose even had a knife and slashed a pair of shoes to keep this customer from getting it. And you mean to tell me that's okay? A weapon. And not to mention they have been caught stealing numerous of times. The management is definitely aware of their behavior. What does it really take for them to be banned from this location? Also It's sad to see the employee's can't do their job due to the customers NOT abiding by the RULES. The accessories bin, shoe bin, clothes bin and etc the employees can't even push them on the floor in its place or secure it before they raid it. Other bin locations has a rule to where you stand behind a line until its secured or the items are placed for proper sale. At this location ( Greensprings) I've seen people get hit, pushed, and even hit with the bin. And this happens at every rotation. And not to mention AGAIN you have 2 particular customers that just takes over. And speaks rudely towards the employees and customers. But in Spanish. I personally speak Spanish so I understand them although I'm Caucasian. I have had a few conversations with them just hear what they have to say and its all negative. The harassment they do to the employees is just pathetic. It's 3 employees they are really targeting and I wanted to let them know it but I don't want to cause confusion because I don't know how they would react. These employees are actually nice and helpful from my encounters. What's more important your employees or the customer's that's causing issues ? This is the most laid back bin but the most unorganized bin I've been too. Atleast the customer's abide by the rules at the others. I enjoy coming here because it's it's closer to home and for my mom outing but I wish things would change and certain customers who disrupts the environment wouldn't be allowed. I took this time out to hopefully get this message to someone who would make a difference....
Read moreIf I could give this place a 0 stars I would I have been coming here for many years now and this place has really went down hill with all this new staff and and new management they aren’t doing anything to help this establishment move smoothly in the past years everything has been great until recently not only me but several other customers have been seeing David and Monica filling bins up with shoes such as Jordan’s , on clouds and hokas etc higher end shoes and been giving them to the “shoe lady” as we like to call her and we all assume she is paying them since when they put shoes out for us it’s all junk all ripped shoes and no wearable shoes and I’ve never seen it like this until we started seeing this happen in the afternoon and where is the manager you might ask welp we never see her it has been a month or longer since we have seen her on the floor she isn’t keeping staff her staff up to date and multiple of the employees have said they only do stuff for people that drive from far in there words and when Lorenzo still worked here he said the employees got first pick on any items and over the years I have noticed that they never put anything out anymore I have seen in my own eyes the staff loading up furniture items in the managers cars. I would say all this is unfair someone needs to do something at this location because they don’t do anything about any complaint and the only person they is truthful is the new cashier she is so amazing and kind unlike the other cashiers. this location is not worth it at all they need corporate up in there managing since the employees are untrustworthy. But even past employees have told us they all get first pick and they all have backpacks where they put there items in and many times in the afternoons I have seen amber,Tiffany and other employees looking at the cliches in the back and taking what they want. I hope this can be fixed because paying the employees off to get whatever items they want is not right to anyone else spending their valuable time in the store to find nothing since they are saving any good items for the shoe lady! And many customers have seen this happen not just with the shoes but the clothes too. If this was the case everyone would want to pay them to get all the good items especially since we haven’t gotten any shoes in months to the point I don’t even see kids shoes I am beyond upset over this. Please make this right for...
Read moreZero Stars! My experience at this Goodwill Outlet has taken a disappointing turn. Unfortunately, my time there has been marred by unprofessionalism and unpleasant interactions, particularly with a cashier who wears a mask, Tiffany.
Tiffany seems to forget that customer service is a priority. Her demeanor is unfriendly, bordering on hostile, and I've found her to be incredibly unprofessional. Rather than assisting customers, she often seems preoccupied with her phone, which doesn’t instill confidence in her ability to serve effectively.
Moreover, the overall operation of the store leaves much to be desired. Employees constantly on their phones and talking amongst each other for long periods of time. Lately, the pace is slower than normal schedule; items are rotated and set out in a sluggish manner. Employees rummage/steal the goods before they’re made available to customers. This practice not only diminishes the shopping experience but also raises questions about fairness and accessibility for all shoppers.
When issues arise, the lack of managerial presence makes resolutions difficult. I’ve noticed that managers are rarely on the floor, seemingly detached from the day-to-day operations. This disregard for customer experience adds to the frustrations of shopping at this location.
Additionally, I must express my concern regarding the prices of furniture and appliances. Strangely, many of them are priced higher than retail. This practice undermines the very purpose of Goodwill Outlet.
To top it all off, the smell of marijuana around the store is off-putting and unprofessional. It creates an environment that is neither welcoming nor conducive to a positive shopping experience.
Overall, my experiences at this Goodwill Outlet have been disappointing. From unfriendly staff to overpriced items, slow rotations, and a lack of managerial support, it's difficult to recommend this location for anyone. I hope they can address these issues, as there is potential for a much better...
