Car Lunch Review Time: To the Point: 9.4 / 10

I just so happened to pass this place on my way to get pizza and while waiting in line for a while to order pizza I decided to Google this place. So this was a very spur of the moment kind of decision. Glad I did because I found out they have Birria Tacos. You know the tacos we see on social media that look extremely juicy and has the dipping sauce that makes it look like you're dipping into a taste of Heaven? They have those.

So I came specifically for the Birria Tacos, nothing else. I hate I limited myself to two. These things were juicy even without the sauce and had a really good texture. Meat was good, I don't even know what was inside the tacos that's how good they were. All I know that flavor and juice was coming out ... Only thing I can say is they "served me up something proper" ~ Shoutout to Daym Drops

I will be coming back asap. I wanted so bad to turn around and order more but I didn't have the time.

Restaurant is like a small hole in the wall, everyone felt welcoming and I love the look and design. Even had a little area with DJ equipment. Would be a fun dinner spot to come to for Tacos and drinks.

As always when I visit more I will update my review but overall really good first impression.

Why has no one told me...

If I could give no stars I would, this is the worst service I’ve ever had. I came here with my mind set on birria tacos. I also grab rice and cheese and chips, everything was nasty down to the cheese and chips. Like how can u get that wrong, the tacos where dry with no flavor even with the juice, 4$ up charge for rice that was also dry with no flavor. I came back with their food and asked a full refund on which I paid 32 dollars for, when I gave them the food back only two tacos was gone. The manger comes in yellling and going off because I said the food had no flavor Maria is her name she homes on to say I can only give you $15 dollars back after trying to Force me to try other foods. How do that sound you told me to bring the food back two tacos missing nd because I didn’t want more food you only give me 15 dollars back. What a rip off completely I’ve never heard of a place that tell me to bring the food back, let along argue with the customer because I don’t like the flavor. If you can’t take criticism Maria you shouldn’t be in this Business, from the service I received you won’t be...

Couldn't read menu. Waitress was extremely nice and really tried to get our orders correct but I just wanted a taco salad and was told they didn't have them so I got meat cheese tomatoes sour cream and tortillas chips that were not good on a plate and no complimentary chips and dips like I'm use to when visiting any other Spanish establishments I've visited my mom wasn't happy with her meal either she expected her food to be still steaming when it was presented but it wasn't nothing like anything we expected and although the food was decent the whole experience wasn't pleasant from the extremely loud music (we were the only ones there so we asked if they minded turning it down) to the decor chosen just too many skulls and more like it was for the day of the dead holiday not an all the time theme they had but whatever like I said I liked the waitress she was a doll but everything else just not my cup of tea and highly doubt I'll return I'll keep my 40 dollars and go to Guadalajara next...

Let’s be clear: this was a Pizza Hut, and now it’s La Tia Paisa. Don’t come expecting the decor of El Royale, or even a Chili’s. But the tacos may be better than either of those, especially on a Tuesday, when they slap a wristband on you and you can eat every taco you can hunt and kill. They’re also working on delivery—forget DoorDash, this is comida ràpida. And there’s a drive-thru. I haven’t been this excited since they introduced the personal pan pizza. Edit: came again today (Oct 29) and got the Cali burrito and a custom fajita style quesadilla. Both were delicious, and the thicc Dia de los Muertos statuette added even bigger spice to our meal.

EXTREMELY RECOMMEND you try this Mexican restaurant/Taco Shop. The most closest in dishes with the Taco Shops back in San Diego, CA. I absolutely LOVED the taco shops back at home, it was the majority of my meals throughout the week. And for being in the south and testing as many Mexican spots (including ones I have not rated), this is the closest with dishes and flavors to the ones back home.
