T.J. Maxx — Local services in Homosassa Springs

Went to this TJ maxx to look for Halloween decorations for our home. Upon searching we came across a cute pumpkin statue with a hat. The rim of that hat had an inch sized chip/hole in it. I then picked it up and went to one of the two managers on the floor working and asked if there was any way for a discount? I showed her the damage and she then looked at it and said she would have to “take it off the floor” because of the extend of damage. I then asked why and she said because “it was a liability to them”. I proceeded to ask if she would be throwing it away as I was offering to buy it then and there. She completely dodged the question and repeated what she had said earlier “I have to take it off the floor because it is a liability to us”. So I said ok, I was disappointed and went to check out. Review for T.J. Maxx – Inverness, FL

I love shopping at T.J. Maxx, but every time I visit this Inverness location, I’m disappointed by the condition of the bathroom. I kept hoping that management or corporate would do something about it, but it seems nothing has changed.

The restroom is unsanitary and extremely gross, which is not safe or acceptable for customers. It’s hard to believe the store allows it to stay that way — it really shows a lack of care for cleanliness and customer health.

Management needs to address this issue immediately and make sure the restrooms are cleaned and maintained regularly. Customers deserve a safe, clean, and hygienic environment when shopping here.

I am beyond disappointed with this place and it's employees. Yesterday, was my friend's birthday and we'd decided to browse around in the store while we waited for a movie at the movie theater. We were having a great time and even bought a few things from this store. However, when we went to leave, the sensors went off and the employees immediately began to suspect us of theft. Three times, we had to talk to them and tell them we weren't stealing anything. And to make matters worse, they even wanted to INSPECT our purses! All because my friend and I are black, doesn't mean we were there to steal anything!
