El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Really enjoy the food here! Everything I have tried taste freshly made and they have been very consistent in their service and quality. I almost hate recommending them because I don’t want everyone taking up all the seats in this little gem, but have to give credit where it is due! They also seem to do a steady stream of to go food, but I don’t live close enough to try that and give an impression. Try the fajitas, enchiladas and/or bowls. I don’t think you will be disappointed. Oh, did i mention the free chips and salsa they give every table? They are delicious, chips are served warm and the salsa has that perfect amount if heat that keeps you going back for more. Don’t want to forget the staff, ALL I have encountered there are friendly and i cant recall my order ever being wrong. Been eating there 1-2 a month for a few years now. I'd take away stars if I could. Boyfriend and I came in the other night. Definitely wasn't as busy just a small group sitting in the back. We waited about 4 or 5 minutes in plain sight of both the waitresses on their phones before they even noticed us and then pretty much gave us dirty looks and asked us if we wanted to sit sarcastically as if we were supposed to know to seat ourselves. Table was dirty when we sat down. When they sent someone else out to hand us the menus, he asked how it was going but when answered just walked away like he was upset. The whole menu was covered in salsa and the dishes were dirty as well. The whole scene gave us bad vibes and honestly I wouldn't have been surprised had I gotten food poisoning.It could've just been a bad day for them but have some pride in where you work for christs sake. Why open up another restaurant if you don't even want...

We eat here a lot and absolutely love the food and the staff is always super friendly and welcoming..I have no complaints about that... however came in yesterday and the lobby was full of flies ..we were swatting them off of our food ..it was so bad.. and I know it's summertime and that can usual happen this time of year.. but it was so bad that one of the staff came out and was killing them with a hand towel on the window in front of customers.. he's just over there hitting the window like 8 or 9 times it was very noticeable...and then tucked the hand towel back in his apron.. and never swept up the dead flies.. there was a pile under the seat by the window on the floor.. you could tell he had been doing this all day...a fly landed on my food and I was done didn't even want to finish it....we love this place but wont be back till...
