I am really impressed with David Oaks, the new owner of Gorge Audio. We had a bit of a head scratcher, in that he had to basically reconfigure a very poor installation from 8 years ago. Rather than try and up-sell us, he suggested that he could completely reprogram our remote to function properly, and then suggested the "best of the middle" gear to keep my revised system affordable, yet fully modern. We live in a difficult location for reception, and it was a bit of a puzzle to mesh the old with the new. What really stood out to me was David's commitment to make everything run perfectly. He absolutely put in a lot of un-billed time to make it all work. The result is a simple, clean system that just flat out works. I guess I would sum up my experience as "old school service and integrity applied to new technology." He's our guy moving forward! ...

David, the owner, was quick to respond and flexible with scheduling. He did the original install of all our audio and video equipment 10 years ago. It was time to replace the tv, troubleshoot the sound system, remove unused components, and reprogram the universal remote. Ryan completed a lot of work before David arrived to help with the tv and refreshing the setup on a 10-year-old universal remote. Found a dead subwoofer and some bad wiring connections. Gorge Audio and Video are true professionals and extremely knowledgeable in this field. David and Ryan are highly skilled and did a fantastic job installing and integrating a complex A/V system that involved multiple complex disparate brands and made the whole house sing just the way I wanted it.
