One of the worst haircut experiences of my life. I went to Heavy’s Barbershop expecting a simple low fade and ended up wasting over two hours of my time and still left with a haircut I didn’t ask for.
I arrived at 3:10 PM and didn’t walk out until 5:20 PM. The first barber took a painfully long hour and a half, only to say at the end, “Not my best work.” That was an understatement. Then a student barber jumped in to “help” and somehow confused a low fade with a high fade—his reaction was literally “oh shit."
After both of these incompetent amateurs butchered my cut, they passed me off to a third, supposedly more experienced barber. At this point, I had already been sitting in the chair for nearly 90 minutes. The third barber rushed through the cut because he had someone else waiting, and while doing so, spent most of the time “teaching” the first two how to fix what they had ruined.
In the end, I walked out with a completely different haircut than what I asked for.
Avoid this place if you value your time or your hair. Do NOT walk in here unless you’re okay being a test subject for barbers-in-training. This place feels more like a school than a professional barbershop. Absolutely ridiculous. One of the worst haircut experiences of my life.
