5 Stars, Deserves 10. Wow, where do I begin! Let me first say that I was not solicited to do a google review, or part of a raffle of some sort to boost reviews. Yes, many apartments do those types of things. That is not the case here. Lakewalk has the secret sauce and it all boils down to customer service, starting with the property manager Carolina. After my initial visit, she followed up a few days later to my surprise. The first sign of true customer service. At some properties, you rarely interact with the property manager or their guarded like the President. So, I truly appreciate her taking time to reach out to me. And how many good things can I say about Katherine. She is a true gem for Lakewalk. From my first sit down with her I could sense her commitment and passion to helping prospects get a true feel for the community. She was professional and very thorough during my interest process. In addition, she followed up quickly and made herself available whenever I needed her. Even responding to emails on her off day. Wow, she is truly special. And that customer service doesn't stop after you move in. Leasing agents are the face of complexes so it truly goes a long way in terms of one's decision to rent or not. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision and the entire staff from Carolina to Amneris, to Brooklyn and Katherine, all are first class. If this is what you desire, Lakewalk is the place to be. If not, go to the lodge across the street. You'll never get anyone on the phone...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience. We found an apartment we were really excited about. After we applied Andreia asked for work information which we provided no problem. Then says she needs more but would not explain what specifically is needed. Asked for examples… said no. Asked for what the policy of the apartment needs because I was still unsure.. Said no. I then called to see where the miscommunication was and after being interrupted, talked over and hung up on.. she tries to get more money out of us to complete the process through email. So with sufficient information provided she would not accept or answer questions but provides a counter scenario with more money on our end. Being 150$ in the hole without clear communication is frustrating when they want more. The prices on the application and then what was sent over email was also inconsistent and not clear. Lastly I put a request through the portal so we could potentially straighten it out with another employee or manager who might email me back or answer my call. The response was that someone will get in touch with me shortly. Still no one has been in contact 1 week later. I am saddened by the way we were treated as customers. We have lost 150$ to them now. We are super glad we did not give them any more...
Read moreCame in today to look at the apartment complex and the representative wasn’t very helpful at all. I was hoping to get a tour of the property but that was not offered. There was only 1 floor plan of the different two bedrooms available and 1 floor plan of the 3 bedrooms available and both of which couldn’t be shown so I would have no idea what I would be moving into. She was quick to say that everything was booked far in advance, well I didn’t have a need for the apartment far in advance so that was useless information. She seemed very proud of their occupancy and didn’t give me any indication that my business was wanted or needed. It sure left a bad taste in my mouth about the whole place and it was truly somewhere I was very interested in moving to and still am. I just need more information than what the representative could provide. Hopefully a member of management will see this review and reach out to me as I’m willing to give a second chance. Also, on another note, near the leasing office there was a ton of trash all over the parking lot near the dumpster that’s sitting out in the road, around the dumpster and even across the street. I know there is construction, but in my opinion first impressions are important, especially right...
