Home State Brewing is our go-to local brewery in Hamlin — and easily one of the best spots in the area. My wife and I love bringing family here, especially my sister and brother-in-law who are serious beer connoisseurs. We’ve visited plenty of local breweries, but this one always tops the list — especially with it being so close to home.

My favorite beer is Oh My Gatos, and my sister-in-law is all about Doctor’s Orders. The tap list is always changing, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They’ll recommend beers based on your taste and even help you put together a 4-pack to go.

The space is bright, inviting, and great for groups. There’s tons of outdoor seating, live music, and even board games you can play outside (we like to bring our own, too). The vibe is relaxed and family-friendly — you’ll see kids, dogs, and locals just hanging out.

The food is also worth shouting out — I really enjoy the pulled pork and flatbreads, and they even host food trucks for a rotating menu. And if beer isn’t your thing, they have an on-site coffee company as well.

WOW! Home State Brewing is a new brewery in SW Orlando and they really thought of everything. I came through on a Sunday driving back to Atlanta from St. Pete's and was surprised how packed it was for 4 PM as well as the diverse crowd. There were a lot of families and young professionals (saw lots of people pull up on bikes and there is a bike stand) the outside area hosted more of the families with a lot of kids throwing a football around (large space, dog friendly as well).

There was live music playing to the likes of 3EB, RHCP, Blink182 and other favorites. They have pop up coffee bar (Otus), food trucks, board games and more! I was also impressed with the bathroom layout - they have individual bathrooms and I believe a family bathroom as well. I guess I'm used to a lot of breweries with a shared urinal as a cut half keg sometimes with ice tossed on top lol.

The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere for a Sunday funday - too bad I had to drive another 5 hours back home otherwise could have stayed for a couple more IPA pours. Will definitely be back if I'm driving through the area - awesome addition to what seems to be a rapidly developing...

We rented the entire venue for my wife’s birthday party and we were very happy with the experience. Marco and Collin (along with staff) went above and beyond to ensure the party was successful and fun. We had a country themed party and the band Switch was the entertainment (awesome). The food was good and plentiful and the staff were constantly walking around cleaning up and ensuring our guests (100+ people) were well taken care of and happy. Any requests we had were granted happily and we had zero problems or disappointments.

We were lucky with the weather and able to take advantage of both the inside and outside of the venue. There was no pressure to hurry up as band wound down and we cleaned up our props after the party. Several of our guests raved about the bartenders and we agree they were top notch. They even played along with our unique named drink list which was really cool.
