If words could only express my feelings for this place, but they can't. I was blown away by Delores's (owner) personality the first time we meet we talked for at least 2 hours no joke. Then when I went into the venue I was blown away. It was amazing. I had my sister-cousin's (ok my cousins and I made it up OK don't judge me...lol) Hawaiian wedding shower here and let me tell you we were literally in Hawaii in Houston. The wait staff was the best of the best. I never had to wonder what was next because they did it all. Please if you are looking for a place for your wedding, birthday party, just because party this is the place. Do not miss out on the amazing diamond in the rough. We held our son's high school graduation party at Azul Reception Hall last night, and I had to take the first opportunity to provide a review. The hall is a nice size and flexible, with ample kitchen space, a bar area (if needed), a DJ booth, and reasonably sized restrooms. The decorator did a wonderful job with the drapery, and they have all the tools and decorations to make the venue look and feel how you want. The difference between Azul and other venues is the staff. WOW is the lasting thought I will take from our event. From the owner to the catering staff, their flexibility, attentiveness, helpfulness, and overall investment in the happiness of the guests and the success of the event is all too rare. This place is fantastic! I hosted a humongous prom themed birthday party there last week and the owner Dale could not have been more accommodating. The venue is spacious and clean, well decorated, and included a bar area with beverage coolers, DJ booth, huge disco ball, ready to go club lighting, and a giant screen with a projector that we plugged into my laptop. We brought in an ice sculpture, a balloon arch, a photo booth, and a children's entertainer and it was absolutely no problem. Absolutely worth the price, which is extremely reasonable. If I ever throw a party that big again Azul Reception Hall will be the default place that I go. I looked at a lot of venues before I found this hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
