Crafty Crab — Restaurant in Houston

This is actually my 2nd time here. The first time was for my cousin's bday Aug 22, 2022. This time I came for dinner on 7/6/24. This review is based on both experiences at this restaurant. I will tell you that the Seafood is really good here. I'm a Seafood Snob, so I critique everything. They have a jukebox that you can play music. The two times that I've been there, they are always jamming. The customer service was on point once again! I ordered the headless Shrimp Medium Boom Spice and it was just right. The flavors and the taste was banging. My bf ordered the steamed Oysters mild boom and the Scallops mild boom. The Oysters were pretty good and the scallops were cooked just right. You can easily over cook scallops and they are ruined at that point. We ordered a few drinks and that starburst shot was hitting. It was a great night and great dinner. The place is pretty popular. My daughter frequents there and so does one of my long time friends. I have to get over here more often. Right now I’m not feeling this food never been disappointed until now my shrimps taste old bite in to them in. They don’t wanna break apart, but they taste a little old and the crust on it to taste. Old fries and onion rings taste like they’ve been sitting up. I paid too much money to eat here. I don’t like that , and this is my second time the first time it was all good but this time it taste like my food is old. The catchup is old. The tartar sauce doesn’t taste good come on fix it …. Today is Friday January 10, 2025. I stepped into this establishment at about 5pm. I was given a happy hour menu and proceeded to order from the menu I was given. And let me also mention it took about 5+ minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. The food was good and our waitress sweet, but when we got our bill. There was not only 1 but 3 issues. Nothing on the actual menu was the price that we were charged. The wings we ordered were a dollar more. The plate we ordered was a dollar and here's the kicker. We ordered a bucket of domestic beers which showed 13 dollars on the happy hour menu so when we got our ticket it was charged 19. I asked our waitress about the price and she then explained that the happy hour was Monday-Thursday. I aksed why would be given a happy hour menu if it wasn't even happy hour and her response to me was oh just so you all will know. I know for in fact it was happy hour and the food wasn't even that great to deal with all the BS! I will never visit This...
