Love coming here! But gave 3-stars because there unfortunately is one younger female doctor who has made me uncomfortable enough times that I’ve now had to request to never be scheduled with her again. She usually always seems like she’s in a rush no matter how early I come in, and when it came to do my teeth filing to make more room for my Invisalign, she honestly was so rough with me. I had tears in my eyes and was spitting blood by the end of it. The procedure is a little uncomfortable as is, but she kept hitting my gums and I bled quite a bit. A trip to the dentist can be uncomfortable, I get it and go regularly and have never had issues. I also work in the medical field as well so I make a specific note to try and be an easy patient. But to my surprise — she seemed SO annoyed and angry with me about me being tense during her butchering of my mouth — didn’t stop to check in with me as she went, worked with a heavy rough hand, and seemed like she didn’t think i actually was feeling much pain at all. I was literally spitting blood! But what happened next was the shocker — When I had to return a few days later because the retainer I was given had a jagged edge that was cutting my mouth and causing bleeding every time I spoke, she said something along the lines that implied I just needed to deal with it and get over it when I came in. I’d taken off work to come back, why would I be there just for fun! I had to beg her to file the jagged piece down — which she did with obvious extreme annoyance and then told me next time I needed to try and do it myself with a fingernail file at home. I’m paying thousands of dollars for this procedure and just couldn’t believe how dismissive she was. 2mins of her time to stop my mouth from being cut seemed like such a hassle for her.
Well — that was a year ago and I’m now almost done with my treatment, and haven’t been scheduled with her since. Until last week when I came in and saw they’d given me her again. And of course, that day she comes into the room and announces to my surprise that I needed MORE teeth filing done to make a few tiny corrections to my teeth before we’d be finished. I immediately had a flashback of the trauma from the first time but I didn’t mention how bad the experience was with her last time when she came in the room to get started. I don’t think she even remembered or recognized me. I told her that I wanted to avoid the filing if it wasn’t absolutely necessary (my treatment plan was almost over and my teeth already looked great! And the filing last time left my teeth sensitive for months). She immediately cut her eyes and said “fine, your teeth won’t look better though. Okay let’s get started.” By then I could tell she didn’t remember me, but I couldn’t believe she had the exact same rushed annoyed attitude from a YEAR ago! I asked if she could at least give me a little more information on the procedure as to why I needed it again and how much of a difference it would’ve made, and she flat out said “a different doctor can explain that to you later.” When she shut me down again in that moment, I politely excused myself and went out to speak with a manager to reschedule me with someone else. No way I was letting her touch me again. Her level of patient care was just so cold and diminished, she wasn’t even willing to answer my question when I was clearly just wanting more info and a little nervous.
BUT 3-stars because the Dr. Chang who they rescheduled me with a few days later was SO sweet, patient, and explained things to me as they happened, and was SO gentle with the teeth filing I didn’t bleed at all! Not sure if that woman has just a perpetual disregard for patients, maybe judged me because of something about me (race?), or just is a cold person — but as a person who is currently working to become a doctor themselves, I know for a fact the way I was treated was unacceptable. To say I’m spending THOUSANDS and this is a treatment plan that takes years to complete — you want to know you have a medical professional who gives you quality...
Read moreMy first experience at campus smiles was terrific; I felt comfortable and knew that I would be in great hands. We talked about Invisalign and what I would need to do to prepare myself for this. In the billing office, after I paid half to start the process, I was given papers about what I was paying for and what I will be responsible for paying for in the future I was on board.
It wasn’t until the first step that I noticed my teeth were showing stains of pink; I thought, was it something I ate? And I am not cleaning my aligners properly? I was puzzled and didn’t know if I had done something wrong from here; I completed research online to educate myself on how to cope with the pain and the stains of Invisalign.
In my upcoming appointment, the lady debonds the attached and filed the color of my teeth—Shortly after wearing my aligner, I noticed the same thing appearing. My self-confidence and self-esteem dropped drastically as I had to deal with this, smiling in front of people and bearing the pain. I no longer wanted to pay for this process; the experience was disappointing.
To make matters worse, I asked for a refund. I was told verbally we don’t give refunds after 30 or 60 days. I asked where can I learn about your refund policy because I did not receive this information on my end. She says she has to get that information. I still have yet to receive the information. I asked what about the Invisalign policy? She says she has to get that information because she didn’t have it.
I called days before my payment would deduct to say I would like to stop payments and treatment; days later, I was still charged. Not once did she apologize or show empathy; she only says I’ll call the office to fix it. I still have not received the payment back. She was not caring to place herself in others' shoes or anything. After this, I was told I’d have to pay a cancellation fee and then was told the cost was covered and I didn’t have to pay. That fee was $1500; the prices shown in an email were utterly different from what I was given.
They’re refusing a refund; they canceled my appointment for today because they don’t have time to take off attachments due to someone else appointment time; now, I have to wait until June 2 to get them removed. It’s just a nightmare. At first, they were charming, sweet, informative people about Dentistry, but in the billing office, it’s a different story.
If you choose to come here, please ask 1. If I decide not to go through with this procedure, when is the deadline for a refund? 2. Do you provide 100% refunds? 3. How long will the refund period take? 3. Can you provide me with all documents I need to educate before I decide? 4. Can I see an itemized copy of everything I’m paying for? If you don’t, they will give you one thing and surprise you with another, then act clueless about it all.
I’ve learned from this experience to ask questions. Remain respectful, ask for a refund politely, leave reviews, let your truth be heard, and file a complaint with the Board...

DO NOT COME HERE. My filling on the upper left side that the dentist unnecessarily insisted I get just fell out. So not only did he make me go through a procedure I didn’t need, but it didn’t even last more than 2 years.
original review
In April I went in for a sensitive tooth on my bottom left side. Dr said he didn’t see any cavities on the left side but my top left filling was worn out and I should replace it. I specifically asked about bottom left but he said there was nothing. But he said I had two cavities on my right side that I should get filled. Even got a lecture from the tech person about getting it treated early on. Got the upper left filling replaced. Fast forward 6 months and I’ve been dealing with extreme sensitivity on my LEFT side ever since, and too nervous to go back and ask about it/get charged an unnecessary visit fee. My right side is the only side I can chew comfortably with, where my supposed “cavities” are. I’m annoyed that I paid for the savings plan because now I don’t trust them to go back for...
