This place is more than just a hair lounge! This place was hand molded and fortified as one of GOD'S greatest creations! From the second you walk in you're blessed with a euphoric embrace of love and tender care! The energy that exist is sooo angelic and empowering! They greet you like family and close friends. Then once you express the service you are in need of the magic truly begins. I was walked to the shampoo bowl where my scalp always receives the massage I've needed all my life. All of there products are beneficial to your hair health. Omg when I say that tree oil gets my scalp felling sooo fresh and soo clean! It truly is revitalizing and refreshing, one of my favorite parts of this amazing experience. Honestly that is just the beginning, once I'm in chair they get to work and begin to bless me with a spiritual transformation. My confidence, self worth, and self love are all exuding at high levels once I get blessed with the experience! I say experience, because what I receive here is more than a hair service. I honestly feel like they wash away all negativity in that shampoo bowl and build a crown of abundant excellence! The way they speak so many uplifting words about you and your hair it's hard not to feel so renewed. I love it here ! No matter who blesses your crown every person here is gifted and remarkably talented! The owner (Kel) is a blessing, she's nurturing a collective of artists that are something serious! It's like Jordan training a group of Kobe's and LeBron's in the same building! I have been growing my loc's for over 11 years, and I was going to the same person for over 7/8 years . But once I was no longer valued I needed someone to step-up and step-in! I thought it was by chance I ended at the Kelatic Hair Lounge, but no it was divine intervention! I have found my sanctuary and nothing will ever deter me from it ! If you're ever in need of any service for your crown(hair) this is the place your soul is yearning for! The greatest, spectacular, beautiful, amazing and one of kind are just a few things that scratch the surface of the flowers that everything and everyone deserves at KELATIC HAIR...

(If you been doing this for 12 years, my true question is did you take a business class ? They teach this... You know? There a professional way to aquire new long term clientele) and raising the roof, ain't it....... The owner is trash, I'm a new beginner to styles, extensions, so forth and so on, this individual tried to charge me 800.00 for invisible locs, minus 300.00 for hair color, if you are an honest person, believe in paying a fair price for what you get, do not, I repeat do not come here, I wasted 6 hours of my life here, so low class And then tried to tell me she on the pricey side of things, after I told her I talked to 3 other beauticians And their price is less than half, God don't like ugly, I was initially told it could not be done today, then she took it upon herself to add herself and another stylist without telling me until the end when I begin to ask why a style that takes from 180-360 is costing 800.and then she attempted to back paddle like, how much they charging, I told you we would tag team, who in the world ask for two people on my head, No one, had you stood on your word, not today/ consult, or explained why 800.00 was the price in details, perhaps I could have became a long time customer, charity? Really, you have no ideal who I am, or what I have.... Jesus..lol, charity... Right, so invisible locks costing 800.00 with Color, please and no thank you, sadly, this post is honest, and truthful, I could say alot more, but what for! And this is why black owned business fail.... It wasn't the price dear, it's the way you tried to quadruple the price on a first timer...smh, so sad, but I'm suppose to be dumb with it, right? You said 800.00 at 1030AM, I didn't blink, 3-4 hours later you were then trying to explain that 800.00, poor...

7/26- UPDATE I’m impressed by the effort of the owner, Rockal has made to satisfy me and improve my experience with her salon from my previous visit on 6/15/24. she personally reached out to me, apologized and offered to do my hair personally again. She did a wonderful job tending to my hair and asking questions about my hair care needs, and desires. Overall, If you have locs or thinking about transitioning, give this place a try!

6/15/24- I am a new customer and my hair style is nice but it shouldn’t have taken 7 hrs to complete! My appointment was at 2 PM and I didn’t leave out of there until 8:57 PM! My service was a wash/retwist/style. The lack of self-awareness and how customers feel is disheartening in this place. First, I never in my life had a 2 hour shampoo (I felt it was too much since I told the stylist that I washed my hair earlier - in fear of the person not doing a clean scrub of my scalp). Also, I was not feeling the stressful environment - loud music/tv, stylists on their phones hearing all their business, and some stylist left her client incomplete under the dryer as they left to go home and my beautician had to pick up the slack, which delayed me more. Plus, I wish the beautician that was doing my hair would’ve gotten my consent to livestream/broadcast me on her channel the entire time she did my hair! It felt uncomfortable having to hear random conversions/cussing on her live for that amount of time. Don’t get me wrong the product was nice, but it’s not worth my time or the...
