You honestly have to know someone to get a decent cut here. If not, they'll put you with someone relatively new with slight experience. You may or may not get a decent cut by them. I've been here about five times. My first 3 cuts were garbage, and I had to grow my hair back out and just cut it myself. They have a surplus of barbers that work there, the one I was requesting just threw me to another and that one threw me to a new barber. The guy I requested (as a walk in) wasn't busy and didn't have any appointments, nor was he on break. I know because I asked him. There was a bit of a language barrier because most of the barbers don't speak English, and I'm not too fluent in Spanish anymore, so I brought my Cuban friend who is very much fluent to be able to communicate properly. The barber I tried to get cut by, I watched him work and I liked how he operated that's why I tried requesting him. He just stared at me, pointed to another barber after my friend translated, that barber he pointed to called out for someone else. I ended up getting sat with the brand new barber who had only had a couple of months of experience (I know this because I found out after the cut when he told me). The 2nd time I went I got a different barber but I just assumed he didn't know how to cut my type of hair. The first barber wanted $35, the 2nd wanted $45. After those first two cuts I ended up trying to find another barber to no avail. So I'd just end up giving myself fades or tapers and just going to get the back lined up. It sucks that you have to know someone to get a good cut here. They have a bunch of different ethincs groups there but most only speak their native tongue. They can definitely cut CERTAIN types of hair but i dont think most of there barber know how to cut african American men or rather outside of hispanic hairstyles. Favoritism is...
Read moreI recently brought my nephew to get his haircut with Andres, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere.
The staff here are incredibly patient and understanding with my nephew, who can sometimes be a bit apprehensive about getting his hair cut. They took the time to engage with him, making him feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process.
Andres was not only skilled but also incredibly talented at working with children. He had a natural ability to connect with him, making the haircut feel like a fun and enjoyable activity rather than a chore. He listened attentively to his preferences and made sure to incorporate them into the final look, resulting in a haircut that exceeded our expectations.
I cannot recommend him enough for anyone looking to bring their children they do a...
