Renwick Food Market — Local services in Houston

On August 27 of 2017 this store is really helping the community. The had a lot of food and groceries in the store, everything at normal prices and gallons of water for 1 dollar. Also tax exempt on items of mayor needs. Everything was very organized, they had a guard at the front door allowing people to come in 2 person on a time to keep the order. I notice that one of the guys working at the store is a polyglot he could speak an Asian lenguage, English and Spanish, that I think it was the best part because a grand majority of the customers only speak Spanish. I wish I could give more than 5 stars * to this business...

It’s a small mart focused on basic house needs especially food. If you are a big shopper, this isn’t a place for you. And all the staff is Hispanics that know a little bit of English so they are difficult to communicate with if you are only and English speaker, and by the way there is no restroom. But other than that, it’s a pretty convenient place for shop...

Nice that there's a hot food bar counter-style with varieties of food ready to go. Avoid the egg rolls as they are too greasy and salty but the beef ribs were seasoned so well (delicious!) and you have a choice between white rice and Mexican rice.
