Pollos y tacos El Mapache (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

They advertise 99 cents taco. So I order 6 tacos. When I got my first tacos I was impressed because it was regular size taco. Since 40% of the taco was grilled onions. A costumer was eating there too and he told me that those tacos are 2 dollars. So I asked the lady for the bill before eatin the tacos. She told me 2 dollars and they advertise 99 cent, but it's my responsibility to specifically order those. They don't have the prices on the other items. And the owner yelled at me saying that if I want free meal. I don't mind overpaying, but don't take advantage of false pricing. And never tell the customer that it was my fault for ordering tacos that advertise on their truck. I could report to the federal consumer commission for scamming and hidden the prices to the public. Any restaurant have to have their prices. Don't mislead and mistreat the consumers saying that if you don't ask, you will charge the with any...

The chicken is good the torta was good, the biggest problem this place has is no consistency. Sometimes the Spanish rice is awesome and sometimes it looks like it barely has any condiments. Sometimes you get the whole chicken for $12 and sometimes you're missing pieces. Like I said there is no consistency in this food truck. we ordered pollos asados and we were floored!!! Large serving, amazing customer service. This is hands down the best grilled chicken we have ever had. The pickled onions for the side are amazing.
