In Mr. Wilsons absence, I needed to find a new tinter. Jim (owner) seemed nice enough, pricing was fair and the business has been around for a while. I decided to give Forsaken Customs a try. We had all windows on our X5 tinted with Ceramic Film. As far as the install in comparison to Mr. Wilson they left a ton of fluid behind. So much so it took almost 3 weeks for some water pockets to cure out. After rolling my windows down I noticed the cuts were very jagged, it looked like the tint was ripped with a very dull knife. Stuff happens - a lot of environmental factors play in to tinting - so I reached out to Jim and scheduled an appointment to have the windows which needed redone taken care of. This is where things went downhill fast. First, to get the tint fixed - they were 2.5 weeks out. At other shops - if they messed up a window, I was always worked back in immediately which is how it should be. It isn't my fault the tint install was flawed. Then I show up for my 1pm appointment on my lunch hour to have my tint fixed to be told by Jim's helper that he was in the middle of a full tint job and was "30 minutes to an hour" from being done. Being that I was on my lunch hour - I didn't have 30 minutes to an hour to sit around to wait on my car to get started, I left. I reached out to Jim afterwards and voiced my displeasure. At this point Jim became argumentative about what his helper said. I left it open ended and gave him an opportunity to make things right and get my tint fixed and he didn't respond. I personally will never go back, nor would I recommend anyone to take their vehicle to him especially if you are expecting Mr. Wilsons style service and care. As for the windows needing replaced, I will pay Extreme Audio to fix them.
Follow up to owners b.s. lie of a response - You didn't personally interact with me at all. You sent your helper outside, not once did you come out of the shop or offer a solution to the issue. Maybe you should find help that doesn't lie. As the story he gave me (the customer) vs. the story he fed to you are completely different. I left when I was told my appointment would be 30 minutes to an hour late because you had a full tint job you had to finish first. You have my number in case there is anything you would like to clear up. You sure haven't used it to try to do better and fix the issue as your...
Read moreHorrible customer service!! I called them over 4 times throughout a 2 week span during business hours and never once got anything but a voicemail. I proceeded to leave the same voice mails for them and never heard back. I have 5 trucks I wanted done and I guess the other place in town will be getting my business and everyone else I tell to not go here.
Update: When he saw this honest review this is how he responds. "Oh look you left a review. Good for you! I hope you feel accomplished! You will never be allowed in our store. We pride ourselves on our work. We treat our customers with respect. We are extremely busy as it’s the busy season. It’s a one man operation and I do my best to keep up with the demands. There is a reason why I’m booked to the end of august. So when a person decides to be disrespectful and feels privileged over anyone else, such as you did by your first message to get work done by us. I will refuse you service. Like I said in the first message I sent you. I wish you luck with your adventures."

Read moreI brought a vehicle to Forsaken Customs on June 23rd, 2020 for window tinting. When the vehicle was ready I received a voice mail message. I called back and specifically asked what form of payment was accepted (credit card, check or cash). The individual I spoke with said whatever, your choice. We paid with our debit card. We were told the amount was $316.50.
Looking at my receipt today I noticed the amount was $329.13. There was a $12.63 service fee. I called and spoke with a Connor and explained. He said this was a service fee for using a credit card when paying.
I understand the amount is only $12.63 but it is disappointing, when I made a point to ask regarding payment, the service fee was never mentioned. This doesn't seem like a good way to do business. We would have paid with cash to avoid the service fee if we would...
