Burlew's Fresh Market — Local services in Hubbard Township

Wow are the prices high! It makes it hard on the pocket if you don't have the option to go elsewhere. Could use more types of fruits and produce and healthy eating products. The selection they do have is always fresh and colourful. They are very nice folks and the store is generally well stocked and clean. Those prices though! Also I wish they had a better selection of international food, and international food spices like garam masala and turmeric. It also would be awesome if they had more fresh herbs than that dinky selection. Deli is great along with the bakery and hot foods. But did I mention those prices? So in there weekly ad there is no mention of having to have a "card" for items such as butter, or waffles, but in the store it states on the product I do. On there turkey breast in there ad it "DOES" state you need a card. I brought this to the owners attention and he merely stated "that"s the way it is" I would have thought that for this visit he would have offered a courtesy being as where his store was being deceptive in its advertising, but to no avail. The prices are more than Walmart or Giant Eagle but that is to be expected at a small town grocery store and I don't hold it against them. My biggest grievance is that the cashiers are always so rude! I try not to shop there because of it but every so often I go there out of convenience. I've never once had a nice cashier and always receive dirty looks when walking in from the two young girls that seem to be there a lot . They never greet me, barely mumble the total, and never tell me have a nice day or thank you. It also really bothers me that they pack my raw meat in with whatever else...
