I went up to Hubbard to help a friend move and stopped downstairs to look around in the store. I found a dresser which I was in desperate need of. The owner sue was trying to charge an outrageous price for this dresser of 300 dollars. Ed said the dresser was vintage and that was the price . Ed said he personally made sure it was in great shape. I bought the dresser and took it home to my trailer. When I got home I noticed there was a strange smell. Over the next week I got a number of compliments that my house smelled like something died. They even went as far as saying I had a dead cat in my trailer. Come to find out it was the dresser that smelled so bad ! I looked into the dresser and noticed how they just painted over random stuff ! They painted over moth balls ! I contacted my friend I helped move and she said that sue goes out late at night and takes things from the dumpster and takes it back to her shop. The dresser I got was her neighbors and her cat kept peeing on it so she got rid of it. How could one sell such an item and claim it's vintage ? I looked high and low and it wasn't a 1925 dresser it was a 25 dollars dresser from walmart from 2002. I was heartbroken. Not to mention when I went to move the dresser it broke and it fell and broke my right foot. This won't be the end sue you can't do business like this. I won't stand for it and neither should the community. We deserve good solid dressers that are not from a dumpster.
I seen your response and I'm deeply saddened you won't take accountability for your actions. I specifically bought this item from there I paid cash for the item. It sounds like your transaction system is flawed because my memory is not. You told me it was cash only and I clearly see why. My wife Jennifer was there the day I bought it after we helped one of your tenants in the apartment...
Read moreI have walked and driven by this store many times, and today I decided to step in for the first time.
When I first stepped into the door, the whole place smell like cinnamon, vintage and antique items.
The owner greeted me, and I've told her that I seen the Instagram story and account of this place so many times and I was captured by them all, I decided to step in here for a while to take a look around.
I bought a small card for about $5.34, and the owner was very nice and professional. I am definitely...
Read moreDrove a little over an hour to buy a dresser we saw posted online; the dresser and the store did not disappoint! Such unique finds and amazing staff. We left with a dresser, a window decor sign, two different types of popcorn, two soy candle wax melts, and a jam. All of it smelled, tasted, and looked amazing. They even have a little Farmer's market across the street that was great. We ended up finding unique stuff there as well. We will definitely be back to find more items and to try the...
