I had the opportunity to have brunch at the Eagle Grille & Tavern in Hubbard, Ohio. I got the impression that this place is a staple of the community, and is supported by the locals. We were seated quickly by the Hostess, who greeted us warmly & she also took our drink orders. Your seating options will be tables, booths or at the bar. We had a small buffet set up for our family gathering, when it was ready, we were directed to it. It had a dinner salad, sausage peppers & onions, pasta & meatballs & their amazing Italian bread. The sauce is absolutely to die for, unbelievably tasty. The wait staff did a great job with keeping our drinks topped off & taking away our finished plates. The owner was on site & stopped to chat with us making sure our dinner experience there was a positive one, I truly appreciated that. I very much enjoyed my brunch here & I will be returning in the near future to dine here again.

It's Friday night, and we called to order fish and wings. It's 625, and they say 25 mins. So I get there at 650 and it's a little busy but I ask for my order and they say it isn't ready, OK no big deal. 7pm rolls around, and the owner Bill notices me still waiting for my order. He proceeded to ask me if i wanted something to drink, i said, "How about a Yuengling? He gladly got me a beer as I waited. I finished that delicious beer, and Bill once again checked on my order. It's now 715, and everything seems to be coming together. He grabs my order and apologizes for the wait. It's not a big deal, I explained to him. He took a nice percentage off my bill, which wasn't necessary. To boot, the food was amazing! The wings were some of the best I've had in years. Fried fish was done to perfection. Thank you again. I will continue to frequent your establishment!

Really fast staff to come to take our order. Asked for a drink menu and had good options, the beer didn't really have a head on it, but the cocktail was good. Crazy amount of fruit flies which is concerning by way of alcohol and liquors. Excited by the prices! We got appetizer of onion rings. Delish!...steak and pasta with meatballs. The steak was cooked perfectly, really fatty but okay and needed seasoning. Fries super tasty. The meatballs, vodka pasta sauce was super bland. Meatballs tasted frozen and very bland...didn't finish our food. The silverware was rough! From sams club and a pain to hold being dye cut metal. Probably have much better fried foods but not great for pasta and steak unless you like it pretty plain. Really wanted to like it but the flies were driving us MAD the whole meal. Also...Saturday night and just family parties here

I came here with my father, we both ordered steaks. I ordered the sirloin and he ordered the angus with the portobello mushroom and blue cheese. We asked for our steaks medium rare and reiterated to them to please not over cook the steaks and make them more on the rare side. When we received our steaks and cut into them, BOTH steaks were medium-well to well done. Absolutely no noticeable pink on either steak. We informed the waiter that our steaks were well over cooked and he took them back. He came out shortly after, while we were munching on our sides, to inform my father that the angus medallions were difficult to cook medium rare and asked if he’d prefer the sirloin or ribeye instead, my father went with the rib eye. the waiter brought the new steaks to our liking out about 10 minutes later, but my fathers steak was missing the bleu cheese that it was supposed to come with and the portobello mushroom. I asked more bleu cheese for the steak and didn’t mention the missing mushroom. When we got our bill, my father was charged $5 extra for the ribeye steak AND extra for bleu cheese as well. Not once did they apologize for the inconvenience and for making us wait for cooking our steaks incorrectly, instead they upcharged us for it all. The steak was gross, even though they were both cooked correctly this time. They were rubbery, bland, and tasted like meat that had been frozen for a long time. I’ve been in the service industry for 15+ years, and I’m really disappointed in the way this business handled it all. Regardless of the service, the food was not even as good as Applebees. Really cheap and obviously frozen steak

To owner: well, shouldn’t someone have mentioned that the chef couldn’t make the medallion MEDIUM rare before cooking and serving it well? It’s also funny, because a few reviews down you responded to a customer saying “your medallions were cooked to your liking, medium rare,” but you’re now telling me that they can’t be cooked that way. Which one is it? And BOTH steaks were cooked wrong, so does the same apply to the sirloin as well, can’t be cooked MR? We were made to wait for BOTH steaks to be recooked while the rest of our food got cold AND instead of receiving not even a single apology from ANYONE or even maybe being offered a drink or anything at all for the inconvenience, your staff UPCHARGED it all. No one acknowledged their wrong doing at all. Stuff happens, I know, I’ve waitressed and now bartend for a living. If someone had shown me those steaks, the first words out of my mouth would have been ‘I’m sorry.’ Secondly, I would have either offered them a free drink or taken something off the bill. And if I told someone that I couldn’t make their preferred steak to their liking AFTER bringing out a wrongly cooked steak, I would have offered something else (like the waiter did) and NOT charge them extra for what I had just offered them AFTER messing up the whole party’s order. Then the cherry on top was charging additional for the bleu cheese the steak was supposed to come with 😂😂. What a joke of a response from the owner. He’s obviously inexperienced. And there’s no way those steaks were not frozen or fresh, they tasted like boxed meat. You could have made it right, but instead you chose to respond in an unprofessional and unhelpful manner. You obviously don’t have much service/restaurant industry or customer...

Went to support a benefit they were having for Bella's Army. New ownership was just what this place needed! New owner has really turned things around & we're so happy they chose him! We had stopped going here, due to previous management but when we saw the benefit & the local celebrity they had bartending for it, we decided to try again. Glad we did!

Food was good, we ordered burgers. Despite the large crowd for the benefit, it came out in a timely manner, & they were tasty. Only complaint I have is that the appetizer of onion rings we ordered for the table, was only 1 more than what came with the burgers. There is an up charge of $2 to have onions rings with the burger, no problem, that's a usual thing. There were 5 on the plate. The onion ring appetizer was $7 and there were 6. So for $12, we could've had an extra burger with one less onion ring for the table instead? Then an hour after we ordered their late night menu started, & the onion rings would've been $5... 🤦‍♀️

Our server was awesome! He was running around like mad bc of the crowd, but maintained a happy & professional manner. He made sure everyone had everything they needed at every moment & made several check-ins with his tables. Wish I could remember his name, but he said he was a manager, so shout out to him!

If you're like us & had stopped going here, we recommend giving them another try! Their fb page shows all the events they've started including seasonal specials, open mic nights, trivia nights, Sunday brunch, etc. If you have never gone here, they have 2 sides to their layout. There is a restaurant on one side, with an attached bar on the other side divided by a door. So if you aren't a "bar" person, you can still enjoy the atmosphere on the restaurant side. If you are a "bar" person, you can enjoy that side. They have outdoor seating, keno machines,...

Fiancé and I went there a little over a week ago when it wasn't busy and it was well-before close. No one greeted or acknowledged us despite clearly seeing us, so we awkwardly stood there until we were finally seated. There was no sense of urgency and the staff looked bothered by the fact that we were there.

We had to wait a while for someone to take our drink order (soda and water) and had to wait even longer to get them. By then, we didn't feel like spending money at an establishment that clearly didn't want us there, so we asked for the check so we could leave. Another waitress who was serving another table apologized and was pleasant but the damage had been done.

This is disappointing because A) this isn't the first time we've had less-than-stellar service, but we chalked it up to being understaffed, having new employees, and being busy B) we try our best to support local business and C) the food has always been great .

As someone who's worked with the general public for 10+ years, the very least I do when busy with tasks/other customers is acknowledge the guest so they know they're welcome and still a priority.

I apologize for not bringing this up sooner, but we've had a lot going on and pushed our experience to the back burner. At the time, we were pretty annoyed but at the end of the day, we're...
