Betty Sue Vintage — Local services in Hughson

My husband and I have gone past this little shop at least a dozen times, wanting to have the time to actually go inside, but always on the way to work or elsewhere, and not being able to. We finally made it inside today, during late afternoon, and we were both delighted. What a treasure chest of awesome gems! The prices are quite reasonable, and the gentleman who greeted us as we walked in the door, presumably the owner, was friendly and welcoming. We were impressed by the size of this "little" attic. We spent an hour, at least, just wandering through each room, space, and book, thoroughly enjoying our "finds". We are in our early sixties, and there was a lot of treasures from our childhood, and all in amazing shape, plus a gazillion items from pre-1950's (like 1920's) and more from the 70's through the 80's. We are looking forward to visiting many more times, and introducing everyone in our circle to this really...

This consignment store is fantastic. Lots of odds and ends that will have you coming back for more. If you like antiques, western decor, and other oldies but goodies... This is a spot worth the trip. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. They are also covid-19 compliant which is important for me to give 5 stars. Find your treasures here before someone else finds them.

Update (21DEC2021): Holiday sales! Who would of thought a hidden gem of a store could have even more incentive for shopping! Great customer service, no long lines, no shipping errors, AND many of the sellers are giving holiday discounts! Even if you don't celebrate the holiday....

I called this place and the lady on the phone was very rude. I asked if she had seen any canning jars come through. Not an unreasonable request. She was so irritated. "We don't know what is in the individual stalls. You have to come in and look for yourself."

A more appropriate, mature, customer friendly response would have been, "Well, we have new items coming in daily so we don't always know. I personally have seen no canning jars but if you'll come in we can help you try to locate some."

I guess customer service isn't valued...
