Pizza Factory — Restaurant in Hughson

Review is based on recent experience after years of being customer for pizza orders only. The other day - we made mistake to try other dishes offered.

Our family has been customers of pizza factory for 15yrs. I frequent there when visiting from Bay Area many times a month. Our all time favorite is the pizza (pepperoni), usually delivery but occasionally dine-in on special occasions .

Recently, we bought a small home in area only few blocks away and realized some really bad cons in need of attention.

1. there no deliver until after 5p.
2. several items we ask for are no longer on menu, but the never update online.
3. Recently , we placed ph order and the lady who answered ph sounded annoyed and unhelpful when we were trying to figure out what was available other than pizza (since the 4 choices preferred were no longer offerered).
4. we settled for a bbq chicken sandwich (that my hubby liked) and 2 pasta dishes (spaghetti and meatballs, that were not meatballs, but pieces of ground hamburger), and a chicken Alfredo with NO alfredo sauce, and a side of garlic bread .

I love cheese, but both these dishes had enough greesy cheese on top to choke a horse and it was so thick it was like glue and you couldn't even stir it into the noodles. No tast, very bland. Minimal sauce on spaghetti that tasted like your worst case of generic brand tomatoes sauce with ZERO flavor. The bread was soaked with butter, but no garlic.

I was so Hungary, I tried to get some down, but after only 2 tablespoons of each pasta and a end of the buttery bread, I began to feel I'll. The grease was do heavy (I'm used to no grease at all due to a strict diet of daily dark leafy organic green shakes), but am tolerable to eating at regular dinners or fast food occasionally. NEVER had a food reaction that made me feel as I'll as this. About 15 to 40min after, I actually vomited it and was sick with a heavy weighed down feeling the rest of night. Uhhhg, it was horrible and I will NEVER eat there again. I will also alert all family in area - to stick to the pizza if they plan on continued patronize there. The plus side to this wasted money, time, and dinner order nightmare is...the delivery guy was very polite...

I chose to spend my time to provide this review because this was observed by my neices and confirmed the discomfort of this visit, our main concern that withdrew our appetite was the absence of proper hygiene, This review applies to the young boys and the female on duty, with exception to the delivery driver who seemed to be the best outstanding character taking action against the post teenage customers that left and attempted to missplace or remove safty cones off the streets. All these workers failed to wear hairnets or seem to keep a clean appearance to thier facial hair, no gloves were observed being used, one of my family members claimed to have a hair in her slice of pizza, although i was unale to verify due to its clear tone complexity. This quality of pizza was not worth the tip i provided. clearly they need a new cutting utensil, even trying to seperate the slices apart was affective, the cheese quality was not to expectation. (no stretch to it) The cheese would all slide off as a single peice on initial bite. My youngest neices cheese sticks were over cooked and became crusted solid bites before you could wait for an edible temperature, I cant believe i didnt provide a picture to that. This needs...

Pizza is good.. If you like to wait an hour for it! We literally watched a family come in after us, order, eat, order more food, continue to eat and then leave and I still didn't have my pizza! When my husband asked they told him they forgot to make ours..then when it took another 20 minutes, I asked and was rudely told it was al most done. Then when they brought it to me, they didn't apologize at all!! Extremely poor service and rude employees! Won't ever go back and will be sure to let everyone I know in Hughson to choose a different place...
