Hugo Liquors — Local services in Hugo

Never thought I'd review a liquor store but, here I am. Stopped off here to take a picture in front of the big Hugo mural out front. The owner, Nigel, popped out to greet us and give us a bit of background on the area. What a wonderful chat! We were in need of some beers for the roadtrip and got to talking further -- realized the owners originate from South Africa and we talked about all of our experiences there. So welcoming! They seem to really be invested in the Hugo community and I'd love to have that in my own neck of the woods. We'll certainly be passing back through again next month on our next drive out to Denver!
