Barrel Proof Liquors — Local services in Huntertown

I didn't know what to expect when I first visited Barrel Proof Liquors and thought it might be just like any other liquor store in the Fort Wayne area. Was very pleased to find out that it is definitely a step significantly ABOVE! Where it really shines, and I am thinking this is going to be a specialty area, is in the area of whiskeys, both in bourbons and ryes. If you want it, it is very likely they have it, or can get it. Clearly the selection of whiskeys was not done by a computer but rather by someone who knows and enjoys great whiskeys. That person would be Zac, the owner, who can often be found rearranging and straightening bottles on the shelves or offering a taste test of something new! There are whiskeys at Barrel Proof that I have NEVER seen at a Fort Wayne store, and lots of variations among the brands you enjoy the most.
