One of the worst pawn shops I’ve ever dealt with. Bought a $400 ring for my wife and one the stones fell out a week later so now she doesn’t even wear it because she is afraid of more stones falling out. Bought my wedding ring from there also and 1/4 inch of the band just broke off…. They offered me $15 on a 2500$ Wedding ring and said it goes by gold weight that the diamonds have no value….that is until they have possession of the item then they become priceless. Several rings I’ve purchased off them for several hundred dollars are only worth a$20 loan to them. Again because they say the rings don’t hold much value until they own them. Called over to report 2 stolen lawnmowers and ask them to keep an open eye out for them. The person that answered the phone just said”ok I will” then hung up. I didn’t tell him anything about the mowers. He cared less… the only good thing I can say about the business is they’re friendly inside and that’s it. Nothing special about the place business wise except for they basically take advantage of poor folks and in a way rip off customers.
This was a long time ago but a friend of mine had 3.5 karat diamond ring , 14 k gold. He had some wealthy grandparents that gave him the ring. He had appraisal papers for the ring. It was valued close to $10 G’s . Just for kicks he took it there and asked what they would loan him on it. After examining the ring for close to ten minutes (testing the gold, looking at the stones, etc.) they made him an offer to buy it. Not pawn it but they wanted to buy it. He never showed them the appraisal papers btw. He was asked where he got the ring and a few other questions about it. He told the guy he knew what is worth and he responded back with “we can only pay about half of wholesale price” then offered him a $100. lol. He showed him the papers immediately after his offer and the guy then said “what would take for it?” He just laughed and said nothing. Then told them he just wanted to see how bad they were going to try and rip him off and we walked out. There was 3 of them looking at the ring one being the owner Bruce at the time who told the counter guy to offer the $100. Like I said, they take advantage of people and their property. He later on at a different loan shop over in Kentucky got $1500 on the ring whenever...
Read moreRecently had a deplorable experience whilst in the process of pawning a firearm. While the item was in pawn, no issues whatsoever, they happily and efficiently took my money. When the time came to recover the pawned item, however, their laziness and pursuing to push through a back ground check (eg. Further review) led to a convenient, additional month added to the bill. At this time, it is impossible for me to think that this was anything other than an intentional act perpetrated by morally questionable by business men and women. I would recommend anyone who has dealings with this business to put due consideration in what they...

Sold me a television under false pretenses said it was a smart tv and it’s not, then sold me Beats headphones and talked me into buying more expensive pair, telling me they sounded better, just to find out it had a short in it!!! They trade the headphones but don’t offer to even give me store cr dit for the remaining difference for the Beats. I asked them to just give me a chrome cast to make the television be what they promised, and they were to greedy to make it right!...
